CURVE Studios and Garden @ 30 Years!
At CURVE studios & garden, located in the heart of Asheville’s River Arts District, you will find 10 artists working in their studios making ceramic sculpture, functional pottery, jewelry, clothing, and fine art photography as well as teaching the art of chair caning. CURVE studios' mission, since 1989, has been to bring people to art and art to life in Asheville’s River Arts District. The Studios at CURVE are open to the public Monday - Saturday 11am to 4pm or more as the spirit allows. The Garden is open from dawn to dusk. CURVE has ample parking for our patrons and there are public bathrooms across the street @ 8 River Arts Place.

Kenny Holland & Pattiy Torno have travelled up to Castine Maine to visit with Pattiy's grandmother, Joan Torno. On this day, Kenny & Pattiy took a sea kayak trip guided by Harold Hatch up river to the Bagaduce Lunch in Brooksville, Maine. After consuming a large haddock basket & onion rings, these two jumped off the bridge into the reversing falls just because it was there... it was great fun.....

The NC DOT has taken on an aggressive approach to completely replacing the Biltmore Avenue Bridge. The first of 6 spans, weighing in at 140 tons each, was maneuvered into place this afternoon. What happened? Why don't we have people like this running for president now? President Obama was the last of the likeable and competent candidates for president. I consider myself politically conservative but more liberal when it comes to social issues and I voted for Obama twice. I think he's a good man and the world respected him. Now I feel like our president is a joke, and not just the one in the white house now, the one before him also.
