Machine Head - Now We Die - Drum Cover
Well, it’s been a while. A long while. I haven’t really had much motivation to make drum covers for, what, three years or so. But once in a blue moon a song as kickass as this comes along, and I just have to do something with it.
Machine Head's Bloodstone & Diamonds is coming out in November, but the opening track leaked yesterday. It's such a killer tune, here's hoping the whole album sounds as good.
I took some liberties with the fills etc. with this one. (And I think that’s fair, considering the song came out just yesterday.) Oh, and yes, I do drop my stick towards the end there. I more or less got through the fill, however, so I decided to keep it in instead of doing it all again.
Lastly...

This guy has nailed all the parts. A little bit of finishing is required in some parts but what a ...fucking great song to cover too. It's got the right amount of double bass parts and groove 👌👌👌. Great job brother.
