I am an all truly to have grown up in a time when there was great media like this there was hope. When I think of Hollywood today they can't give us great things like this I was literally cheering while watching this small clip because that's what good media does it makes you want to see the character succeed not be like contemplating oh my God why did I waste my money. I am in my early thirties but watching this made me feel like I was 12 and life was good and my heroes were truly fighting on the side of justice and freedom and hope for all. Not to check some box for some stupid ESG score

My favorite moment is before he becomes a Blue Lantern. He’s on his knees, confused as to why Moho would send him on this journey only to fail. But he didn’t give up all because he had the one thing that can inspire others to keep on living even when everything is all wrong: hope. The hope that everything is going to be alright in the end.

This is less depressing than in the comics. The comics showed him loosing all his family along the way while here he already lost them off screen

Feels like star wars a bit

The manifestation of Hope Blue Lanterns use is similar to the Force in Star Wars. The Light Side specifically. Hope strengthens Will. That is why it super charges the Green Lanterns. It is Hope that brings out peace, the inner peace.

I'm imagining Superman as a Blue Lantern. Batman's obvious choice would be green, even though the yellow ring recognized his ability to inspire fear.
