This hits so close to home its unreal. I'm not even a Nirvana fan but seeing him say those things is making me cry literal, physical tears. Insane how a guy that lived in a whole other place and time from me who I will never meet understands my problem better than my own friends and family. It fucking hurts I'm telling you. They deadass had to check me for cancer in the stomach when I was barely 13. Ten years later I still don't have cancer but the pain is still there and future looks more grim than not.

I recently got diagnosed with Ibs yesterday actually and it really sucks I haven’t been able to work and do all the fun things I wanna do it is really irritable at times I don’t want to eat and just constant pain everyday

Yo hace poco recibi el diagnóstico de sindrome de intestino irritable luego de varios estudios sin otros resultados. Hace un año empece a sentir sintomas muy molestos. Tuve que faltar a trabajar en varias ocasiones. Tuve una larga mejoría y hace un tiempo volvi a sentir los sintomas. Debo decir que he tomado mucho alcohol, cafe, siempre estoy estresado y mayormente me he alimentado mal. No quiero imaginar cuanto habrá sufrido

Kurt didn't suffer from IBS, he suffered from anxiety, depression, OCD issues which manifests as stomach pain because of how connected your gut and brains are. That's why the drugs fixed his problems.

To anyone suffering from IBS, i also did, and so other members of my family, after trying so many things, following diets prescribed by doctors and many drugs, and still having the same exact symptoms, i decided to try the Carnivore diet about one year ago, since then my IBS is totally gone and never returned. I wish i could go back in time and tell this to Kurt.

Yo tenia su enfermedad. Gastritis gastroesofágico he estomacal. Hoy en dia exiten medicamentos variados .

He had it right when he said it had to do with his head. His stomach problems were related to his anxiety/OCD/depression symptoms. I guarantee it!

I’ve had this for two years straight. Doctors were absolutely useless, even supposedly the best of them. It’s only when I took it upon myself to fully understand the issue and experiment with my diet for approximately 1 year, was I able to fix it, no thanks to the medical system. I’ve been symptom free for 1.5 but what Kurt said resonated a lot.

I dont have pain but so many weird symptoms that nobody knows what it is. My mental health is so bad i feel like i cant watch my favorite show no more because the characters feel good and live carefree but i cant. I know that sounds dumb af. I feel uncomfortable physically and mentally everywhere and i dont understand why. I dont want to leave the house anymore because i feel comfortable at home and my head tells me when i go out to have „fun“ i would feel even worse. Sometimes i doubt how i feel and sometimes i feel like i go crazy. Even now i feel like i cant describe how i really feel because there are so much thoughts and feelings inside me

IBS is fucking horrible. I had it for a long time after having to get hit with some serious antibiotics. Everyday trying to figure out what I could eat without triggering it.

It’s sad, but I’m sure the cold embrace of death was relieving for this poor man.

What he describes sounds a lot loke ARFID a new eating disorder unknow at that time. When you want to eat but you can’t just like he described. His childhood and strained relationship with his parents explain a lot of this.
