@15:25 Baha’is do seek converts. Baha’is have “Pioneered” (sent missionaries) all over the world. They use the term “ teach” rather than proselytizing. Their goal is to have the whole world believe in their faith.

There is not 1 shred of evidence that ‘better teaching’ improves PISA scores. IQ is genetic. And every single person at this interview knows it. You can not fix stupid. Ashkenazis are a minority, they are aging faster than the general population, and they are not having enough kids relative to everyone else. AND the young ones are leaving. This is reality. Nobody trusts government ministers because we all know they refuse to face reality.

It is very mixed picture here in Australia. I have some dearest Jewish friends and neighbors (I live in an 31% Jewish area) and in no way do I want to them threatened and unsafe. However I am most decidedly on the Palestinian side in the present situation. I say this as a gay man where in Arabic societies my sort are often pushed off the top of the nearest tall building. I have spoken with only a few of my Jewish friends about it and because I value their goodwill and company so much I refrain unless asked. I know they feel a lot of anguish and pain... and some confusion. For most Jews anywhere in the world their heart & identity is undeniably wrapped up in the state of Israel. This does make the issue complicated. There will always be those who assume that all Jewish people and the current behavior of Israel are exactly the same thing. Even with the monstrosity of Gaza, do all Jewish people elsewhere have a right to respect and security? If not, it undermines the rights to freedom of expression we all hold.

There are questions about how fundamentally committed Israel is to democracy and human rights. For the last 70 years in "Greater Israel" (which practically is Israel) about half the population is positively neglected and denied any serious rights. Can there ever be a 2-state solution? There are some 500 to 700,000 illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank. This irreversibly changes facts on the ground.

The original jews are the palestinian people, who were ethnically cleansed by invading zionists alien to the land. The third temple, Alaqsa, was built by the people of jerusalem, many jews who converted to islam during its construction upon the liberation of jerusalem from roman rule and the return of palestinian jews to jerusalem in 632-634 ad. The invading zionists, according to Israeli author Shlomo Sand in his book "The invention of the Jewish people are jewish converts alien to palestine. In the 8th century ad the Khazar kingdom in ukraine converted to judaism and would go on to make the ashkenazi jewish population in europe. Yemenis converted to judaism during the yemeni kindom o Himyar in the 5th century ad during the rule of Dul Nawas. There were jewish kingdoms in iraq and north africa as well. The palestinians are the eternal natives of the land. Free Palestine.

Shlomo Sand appears to be the most prominent Jewish intellectual in Israel; to the extent that throughout his public life he adhered to the ethics of his profession as a reliable and credible historian. His implacable rigor with which he exercises his profession and his astonishing courage to defend the truth give him an unrivaled aura throughout the world. For this, he is highly respected in circles of Arab intellectuals. For example, he was not afraid to publicly reveal that he had searched every library in the West to find a single history book discussing the forced expulsion of Jews from Palestine two thousand years ago; alas he found nothing of the sort. Therefore, such a hunt for Jews never took place, but it is purely a lie of Zionist propaganda to deceive world opinion. During a televised tête-à-tête with Mayer Habib a few years ago, Shlomo Sand ridiculed his opponent by accusing him of his dual nationality, saying "you want two states; a state where you work and a state for your well-deserved vacation..." Bravo Shlomo Sand for your clarity of mind and hats off to your activism with a human and humanist face
