Elvis Costello Rhino Bonus Discs
Добавлен 21 фев 2022
Organized collection of Elvis Costello Rhino Bonus discs. Most of these songs have been uploaded in some shape or form via the official Elvis Costello channel or other channels (including my own). This channel will now include ALL songs, in order, separated into their own tracks and also put into playlists. Hopefully this will make it easier to explore and enjoy! Check out the link below for more information about each track. (This site is not affiliated with me).
All audio's have been created from a FLAC rip of the Rhino CD and sampled down to 320kbps mp3. They will be available in this quality or the highest RUclips supports. Note: Audio Quality may vary between album to album and session to session, especially with demo tracks. Any tracks that have a lesser audio quality are due to the quality of the original recording.

He finally covered a Buddy Holly song...and he picked a winner...Great Job Elvis
I LOVE this song and I didn't think it was possible to improve on it until I heard this ASWEOME solo home demo! ❤👍
Whenever I want to hear this songs, I always play this version instead of the official one.
A Clark Gable / Lilli Palmer 1957 (???) Romantic Comedy.
YES YOU KNOW THE LITTLE GIRL IS NOT HAPPY! I LOVE THIS ONE
the best stab
"Everybody is on their knees except the Russians and the Chinese." No change there.
❤️🔥
I feel like sleeping to this. I love it.
Lovely demo. I'm going to transcribe it now thank you for sharing!
<3
Not the best version but great to hear them all winging it in such an interesting manner.
The bonus tracks are so great.
You're the best for providing these bonus discs
Good tune.
God bless you
Elvis is King
Thank you for having uploaded these.
Even without strings, a beauty
One of his very best ballads, inexplicably left off King of America. A beauty.
It's so insane to me he didn't put it on the album. I think he could have cut one of the weaker songs and thrown it on there--it's not very long. One of his best ballads imo.
@HenryNooney He should have removed one or both of the cover versions to be found on the album.
@@jasongray4517 Agree 100 percent. Those were actually the exact two songs I was thinking of. I think Kind of Confidence or maybe even They'll Never Take Her Love from Me would have been so much better on the record. But hey, it's a classic anyway. I was lucky enough to see Elvis play The Poisoned Rose on piano in Tallahassee on his last tour.
@HenryNooney Or even Shoes Without Heels, which is a terrific, country-inflected number. But you're right: the album is a work of art.
@@jasongray4517 I honestly forgot about that song--it's great!
Always had a downer on Goodbye Cruel World. A clunker following a remarkable run of masterpieces. But i love this country inflected version. Much better than the more 'poppy' album version.
had to hear this just now. great version.
One of my favorite Costello songs ever.
¡ Gracias !!
Fantastic. Thanks for uploading!
Big Sister will be watching over you!
This is a fucking Gem!
Another one of my favorites
Thanks
Love this version!
This is an amazing version of this song.
Beautiful vibrato....
He is genious🎶💯👍
idk why this song isn't more popular it's sublime
There's a nice version with orchestra on the Metropole Orchestra Concert registration.
@@palmereldritch7777 that's the first version i ever heard

Fantastic version
Prachtige uitvoering
Really is great, thank you for uploading, I’ve been waiting for someone to upload it again. This or the alternate “Seconds of Pleasure” and “Black Sails in the Sunset” SHOULD have made Trust, should have done without “Luxembourg” and “Different Finger” on there. Some of his unreleased/unrealized tracks are so brilliant, I’d love to see him put them all out on a real, proper album today, sort of like what he did with releasing “Unwanted Number” recently. I also love “Shatterproof”. He is the best at sneering and being disgusted, and then the best at being resigned afterwards from using all of the energy both of those feelings take up.
"If by chance I feel insulted And by fortune I've been faulted When in time I catapulted Into heaven I've been vaulted" God Damn. This is the sickest verse I've ever heard in any song.
Aimee Mann brought me here! What a secret gem. Wow.
Thanks!!!
Elvis does Aretha. Would love to hear a whole album of EC's favourite Southern Soul ballad covers, the more obscure the better. Elvis sings Penn & Oldham. Elvis sings George Jackson, Philip Mitchell, Bobby Womack, Sam Dees.....
Is this the original demo that got transmogrified into the version on Goodbye Cruel World? This is so much better than that album version ... and very similar to Christy Moore's excellent cover.
This is an example of the perfect cover song, the time change makes all the difference
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He kept it faithful to the Sam & Dave original for this one!
This cut is infuriatingly hard to find
And far superior to the release of the deportees club on GCW in my opinion
@@whothefuckcaresionly I was listening to a podcast and that exact opinion came up. Hard to disagree
Didn’t Elvis Costello play all the instruments on the demos of Get Happy!!? (As was the case with “New Amsterdam”)
This is dynamite!!!! The MAIT bonus cd is some of favorite EC music!
best version of this song!
I’ve got this on a loop.
