Thx for adding that, that’s an awesome machine to see in person. I’m glad I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Hate the fact there was a fire we a lot of people were negatively affected. It’s awesome we have planes like this to assist with putting out these fires.

That might work. I ended up cutting the sheetrock and replacing a 7” strip.

Yea, I took out an equity loan and do the work on nights and weekends, after work. Been at it for about 4 weeks.

Actually, I do you would have to know the lake in order for me to point you in the right direction. I would say look on the north end and start looking for bait in the channels. The bite has been pretty slow. But we are getting real close to the spawn. So, that could be an option.

I’m not bragging about using, I’m just saying I have one and appreciate what it allows you to see underwater. I respect your opinion but I enjoy using mine. It’s like when your sight fishing for bedding bass. Just because you can see the fish doesn’t mean that you can catch them. Thanks for checking out the video.

I was seeing a lot of fish moving around. Chasing bait, I was just having trouble getting them to bite. I think I’m gonna throw an umbrella rig and maybe a jerk bait this weekend.

Thx for that, I’ll look into it. Yea, I’ve caught some on jerk baits, I probably haven’t given that a fair shake. I’m always looking to improve and learn more.

As far as, the fish kills on Lake Fayette, it’s due to the hot water and hyper deoxygenation of the water. Everywhere I found grass there was a lot of dead fish. Bass, bluegill, shad and talapia. The lake is in trouble. I haven’t see fish kills that last a whole summer.

I’m heading to Dallas this weekend. Gonna take my brother and his kids fishing. We will fish either Lake Lavon or Lake Ray Hubbard.

Well, what are you fishing for? Have you tried live bait also, look for the fish in the shallows. Most of the fish I’m finding are in 1 to 3’ of water. I’d fish from 6:00am to 1:00pm. Also, try throwing a square bill Crankbait with a stop and go retrieve. Look for bait and when you find the bait the look for the predator fish.
