Let's see how I fare against "Multiplying Arrows for Puzzle Patzer" by Jrosas. A sudoku with Arrow product. Background: Jrosas is a puzzle setter an viewer of the channel whose puzzle I had the pleasure to solve on multiple occasions. I recently solved a 6x6 puzzle using this variant for the first time and commented that it would be interesting to solve a 9x9 version. Jrosas graciously obliged!...
Puzzle Patzer skips second breakfast.

20:20 for me! I’m very happy with that! (Lol, I half expected it to say “Ted Cruz” at the end.) 😄
Lol!
At 0:54. I set this on Sudoku Maker on an IPad. At first I cut and pasted arrows from an ASCII table, then started using the arrow characters from the keyboard on the device. They all show the same to me when I open the puzzle on the IPad, but they look like this when I open the puzzle on my phone, so I should probably fix it. The wide bluish arrows really hide the pencil marks, and they do not exactly point on the diagonals. I really wanted narrow arrows like the ones in the puzzle you solved on Sunday. If you or your subscribers have suggestions, please share. At 13:14 the 456 set of candidates in r3c3 means r3c4 is a 3. That puts the 1 in row 9 and helps with r9c1. At 24:36 the 9 is there in order to make the solution unique. I may try another one of these, but with an 11x11 grid and 9 3x3 boxes (is that “chaos?”) That way I can use 3x3x1=9 among others. You did a great job with bad arrows. Thank you the feature and for citing to my puzzle list and I wish you a very Happy Birthday.
I'm afraid I have no idea about the setting issue. I hope a viewer can help. 13:14 yeah keeping in mind that 1 is needed on the route for the product. I meant that the 9 could be there for a reason that I can leverage 😉 didn't work out that way. I haven't done any chaos puzzles yet. If you do set one with product arrows then please let me know. 😀 My pleasure as usual! Thank you for seeing and sharing the puzzle!
00:05:29 nice puzzle :)
Wow! Lightning fast.
8:46 for me. 😄
Great time as usual!
@ Thanks! You’re very kind. 😄
6:44 to solve. A brilliant and enjoyable puzzle! Thanks Patzer
Glad you enjoyed it. That's a great time as well.
Thanks for the laugh at 2:16. Where you were at 7:00 I skipped to the subtraction from 45. Again, I spent too much time pencil marking the grid, finished in 10:30. 4 seconds behind you, and I didn’t explain it while I solved.
That was probably my quickest attempt at breaking a puzzle 😄. It did take me to long to get the trick in box 9.
Whew! That one was tough, but very satisfying to solve. Took me 62:16. 😄
Yeah, this one was a hard nut to crack
“Following crime”= stalking. I posted a sudoku for you.
Thanks! I was looking for a candidate for the next video! I will check it tonight (or tomorrow morning depending on work!) 😀
2:58 for me.
💪 lightning fast!
Thanks for solving my puzzles! Very cool to see :) There are 9x9 versions with most of these rules sets on LMD, happy to point you to them if you're interested :)
My pleasure, very cool puzzles. I'll probably do another video with the rest of the set. By all means please point me to the full versions!

This one was fun, and one of my comparatively fastest solves! 15:31 for me. 😄
Wow, that's quick!
Speedy run today. I spent too much time pencil marking candidates in all the corners and all the coordinate cells. I missed the neon sign on R6c1. (6:42)
Oh no, I never over pencilmarks! </s> 😁🫣 Still a great time though!
ChinStrap here. Just discovered your channel and for the first time doing index lines it was a great solve! Thanks so much for trying my puzzle. You did the hard mode deduction of the endgame but that's okay! Tried to make sure there was some supporting sudoku first but you aren't the first to focus on just the line. Thanks again!
Hey ChinStrap, thank you for the kind words and for the puzzle. I really enjoyed it! Yeah, I tend to miss the easy way too often 🤣 (not on purpose)
9:55 for me. 😄
Great time!

30:11 here. I tried simultaneously used parity and polarity coloring and it simultaneously helped and confused me.
I know exactly what you mean. That was my first instinct as well.
5:16 here. Fun and quick! 😄
Indeed! A nice Sunday snack 😀
6:32 here. I'm not in love with the constraint, but maybe I need to see it in a more complex puzzle.
Yes, it would be interesting to see more complex puzzles with it.
29:13 was my time! very happy with that
Great time! Did you have trouble with the instructions as well? (Uppermost, leftmost)
@30:00 you can't have a 2 between a 7 and 8 on a german whisper! This was available since @11:50 😅 you got it 3 mins later :D I've been able to finish this in 42:59, solver #331
Well spotted! It took me a whole lot longer than it should have. Hey that's the laugh at my expense that's promised in every video. 😅 That's a good solving time!
I thought Batman had a strict no-kill policy.
Indeed, maybe it was a golden age Batman.
Good solve. I struggled more than you did. I did not understand the wording of the cage sum clue rule. In the Sudokupad app the sum clue shows in the topmost cell in the leftmost column. I assumed the rule was explaining what anyone who sets puzzles knows. “Uppermost, leftmost” is not clear. I think “both uppermost row and leftmost column in the cage” would have caused me to not keep reading the rules to see what I missed, or finally giving up and crawling back to Puzzle Patzer to see if you would clear some fog for me. Once I saw how you interpreted the rule I stopped worrying about the red letters and stoped rereading the rules and the enjoyed the solve. Then I finished watching your solve and had a laugh at your expense over that tenacious 2/3 pair between 7/8 candidates in row 4.
Completely agree with this. Was not clear about being BOTH upper most and left most. Typically I have seen it only based on the upper most row.
Thanks! I see what you mean! Here's where my inexperience in setting and probably English in general turned out to be an advantage! Lol @ the tenacious 2/3 pair 😂. I always have one of those, don't I!
I enjoyed that one! 20:13 for me. For me, the trick at the end was to color the 789s, and it all fell into place. 😄
Good time! ah, nice trick - I should think of colouring more often.
That one was fun to solve! 23:56 for me. 😄
12:06 for me. 😄
Great time as usual!
8:26 to solve. Lovely puzzle!
Yes, very nice puzzle - excellent time as well!
@ thank you for the channel! I don’t do all of the puzzles but do enjoy watching your solves as well!
@jonbrowne thank you for watching! I really liked solving puzzles and knowing that a few people enjoy watching me solving makes it worth it!
13:36 here. It's rare for me to come close to a pro solver.
Great time!
I had just done pagedo's Even Corners when I came across this video with Odd Corners. A great pair to do back to back.
I don't think that I've done the odd corner one. I will look it up!
That one was a lot of fun! 13:06 for me. 😄
Wow, that's a Speedrun!
Fun puzzle! 17:04 for me. 😄
Interesting twist. 13:10 for me (after one dumb mistake at the beginning). 😄
Dumb mistakes? What are these? I have no idea what you're talking about. 🫣😆
Fun quick puzzle! 😄
Thank you for solving this puzzle PuzzlePatzer! I saw your comment on it and was excitedly waiting for this video the past 2 days. It was a very fun watch as always. :) The thing you were stuck on between 30:30 and 54:30 is a lot easier to see if you pencilmark the 12 „pair“ in column 1. Then you can see that if r2c7 is a 1, then it breaks column 1. but you got there in the end! Also because you asked about it, if the last hint (r9c5) wasn‘t there, that cell could be 3 or 5. The hint makes it a 3. :D
Hi Elytron, thank you for creating and sharing such a great puzzle! Is Telekinesis Kropki your invention? I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and the comment as well. Much appreciated! Pencilmarking the 12 pair would have helped a lot! Not sure why I didn't pencilmarks that one in particular. 🤔 Oh I see! Lol, I used that last hint while pencilmarking and pretended that I didn't need it. 🤣
@ The Telekinetic Kroptis were my own idea, although after sharing it, it was pointed out to me, that someone else has already come up with this idea some time ago. So while it is technically my invention, I‘m not the first :D
@Elytron ah well, great minds think alike! In any case, it's a great addition.
Colouring the odd 10-sum pairs different shades helps see where the 1/3 pairs are, which resolves the Kropki in box 4.
Ah, good one!

Yes, I do enjoy a colouring puzzle. 🙂 Nice time!

To exchange the rooks? It will end up a draw.
11 minutes Pretty straightforward
That's a good time.
7:27 to solve. Nice puzzle
That's a great time!
Fun solve. I like to get Bob Seger’s “Night Moves” playing in my head when solving knight move constraint puzzles. You should trust your pencil marks. 7/9 pair in box 2 at 8:53. 4/7 in row 3 at 14:56 with a 4 in the row. As always, I admire your courage to solve puzzles at first glance. Thanks for the “speed run.”
Good song! Trusting my pencilmarks gets me in trouble more often than not! 😀 But you're right, I should. Solving at first glance is how I end up with 40+ minutes 'speedruns' lol and 'entertaining' solves 😆 Though to be completely transparent, 'first glance' is here a bit misleading as I chose the puzzles myself (unless someone recommends one) which means that I read the rules in advance to pick something that sounds fun.
@watching PPSS (Puzzle Patzer Sunday Speedrun) is officially part of my Sunday morning regime.
Thanks! 😀 I'll make sure it's there on time then!
Oh, and I'm stealing the acronym 🙂

Kd7?
what was the elo ratingof this puzzle?
I'm not sure
The 17-cage in the bottom-right is unnecessary. The puzzle can be solved without it.
I'll take your word for it but that doesn't surprise me. Maybe consider leaving a word for the setter?
but it does lower the difficulty, like i used it while solving
@AhmadRizviYT true, it is useful
I didn't use the 17-cage also. Nice puzzle.
@luizgadelha20 yes, a nice and easy one to finish the year! Glad you liked it.
A great puzzle for NYE. I'm not normally a big fan of parity lines, but here they had nice interactions with the other constraints.
Yes, a nice puzzle to usher the new year. Have a great one!
Frogs are much cuter than kropki dots.
Absolutely! 🐸
@@qovro 🐸Since I switched to Sudoku Maker there are so many more possibilities. Puzzle Patzer previously solved “Poet himself” where I figured out how to make the black Kropki dots into black cats.🐈⬛
What a gorgeous puzzle! It’s astounding that this is this setter’s first puzzle!! I see great things from them in the future! (38:56 for me) 😄
It is indeed a lovely puzzle! I'm looking forward to more puzzles from them. Good time btw 👍. Happy new year!
Excellent puzzle, lots of fun. Solved it in 28:37. Your notation gets confusing sometimes. The digits you write in a cell sometimes indicate all the digits that can go into a cell or all the places a particular digit can go in a block. This was especially confusing at 37:38 in block 6. It is better to distinguish the two, e.g. by using Snyder notation (using digits in the corner of the cell to indicate all the places a digit can go in a block). When you get stuck, it can help to write in all candidates that can go in a cell. This would have sped you up several times in the solve. E.g. at 13:22 the cell r4c3 became a naked single (28 can't go there b/c of the 5, 369 because of the column and 47 because of the 7 next to it). But you never noticed it and placed the 1 by eliminating it from r4c1 at 18:22. Similarly, at 31:19 you placed 5 to r2c2, leaving only 3 possible options in column 2, so in particular r3c2 can only be 369 at this point, but both 3 and 6 would create 3 and 6 next to each other with r4c2, so r3c2 must be 9.
Thanks for the tips! I'll try to stick to the notation convention in the future. It is a great puzzle and that's a really good time.
Thanks for the feature. I enjoyed it immensely and it was the best birthday present. Im watching it first thing in the morning on my birthday and watching the waves crash on the west coast of the USA and having a few laughs at your expense about r3c3. Thanks, Puzzle Patzer.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it! I did make a dog's breakfast out of it 😄. Enjoy your day!
