Correct! Some games on Steam have workshop compatability. It's basically a huge catalog of player-made mods for the game. Opposed to many modding sites, you don't need to mess around with the game files. Instead, you can just click the 'Subscribe' button on the mod you want, and it'll automatically be installed.

workshop is an easy and flawless way to install, and enable mods within the game itself. It's insane how easy it is. BUT modding source games is pretty easy already, it's just a bunch of drag and drops. Don't sleep on other, older modsites that might have the good shit like naked breen mods.
