It is sharing a small technical quirk that can in rare cases allow you to solve an easy problem rather than a hard one.

There is an "Evil" difficulty of minesweeper No-Guess mode, which will contain at least one "Evil" pattern.
The metric for checking such a pattern exists only considers the board state and mine count. We have the added knowledge that there cannot exist any situation where a guess is forced, which can potentially be used to trivialize the complex pattern.
