Como pesca mejor esta mosca como ahogaba o como ninfa??
Hi bud, it's fished as a nymph
What type of fry are you trying to imitate with this pattern? I just witnessed a big largemouth bass slamming a wounded fry that was kicking around on the surface, so this pattern has me intrigued.
It's to imitate a brown trout fry in my local water. Pop it back along surface. Great fun
@RoswellSocorro Thanks, I appreciate you getting back to me. I live close to Penns Creek and do a good bit of night fishing for big browns, so I will definitely give your pattern a try. I recently got into Bass/Musky/Pike fishing in some local lakes and the Juniata River, so I've been tying ANY/EVERY pattern I can find to catch more of those species of fish. If I used a darker tale floss, and just not use the cinnamon dubbing, I could use your pattern for Smallmouth fry to try to catch some big Smallies, and then I just need to get the colors right for a Largemouth fry for the lakes that I key on Largemouth. Cool, little pattern. Thanks again for the info.
Hope it works for you bud. I do them in various colours to match the fry in different waters.
This looks super buggy and effective. Would likely work when caddis are on the water too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! 👍
👍!💙💙💙💙💙💙

Love this! Great looking fly. Wish I seen this earlier in the season lol but there will be a few of these going in my box over the dark nights. Thanks

What’s the foam are you using seems a little more forgiving than the baked stuff David 🐟🎣🤔
It's just foam blocks from chucknduckflytying Lawrence. I only bake booby eyes. If you want it to sit lower in the the water you can use the HD foam from waspi. It doesn't float quite as well
Never seen it done by stripping one side of the partridge feather. Does it help stop the stem breaking? Happens sometimes with me when I'm tying it in
I cut one side of the Partridge with scissors instead of stripping it by hand John. As you say it stops the stem breaking. 👍
@@RoswellSocorro thanks for that, great bit of knowledge. I tie them a lot so that will make my tying a bit easier
Great fly, will definitively be giving this a go. Any other colour combinations you would suggest?
Hi John. Good in black, natural hares ear, claret and amber/orange. Natural hares ear ones a killer, video on my channel bud 👍
Nice bug thanks
Thank you 👍
Cracker Davie, very tidy 👌🎣
Thanks Lee 👍
Great fly pattern, like how you pulled the ends forward and cut first before going in to finish I will be giving that a go 👍. What rounded scissors are you using?
