A couple of old farts enjoying life. We will do our best to bring a smile to your face. Smiles are free but they are worth a lot.
Roast Beef Dinner with Yorkshire Pudding
My mother-in-law taught me how to make this recipe and many more. Larry’s mom was a war bride from England and was the best cook and a great teacher to me. I miss her and think of her often when I make one of her special dishes.
YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS RECIPE
Ingredient
Flour 4 Tablespoons
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Egg 2
Milk 1/4 Cup Equal amount of milk and water. If you add more
you add more water.
Water 1/4Cup
Beat until thoroughly mixed but do not over mix. Preheat oven to 450 - 475F. Put a tiny bit of lard into muffin tins and put in oven until they are smoking. Add the batter to smoking lard fill each muffin cup a little less than half full. DO NOT OPEN OVEN FOR THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES OF COOKING.

You need to show the finished product and let us see your reaction to how it tastes. Then use the picture of the finished product for the thumbnail of the video. Wish I could have learned a few recipes from my grandparents before they passed. Teaching youngsters how to properly cook is definitely a necessary life skill that not enough are fortunate to be given.
