Nomadic life in Iran: Installing a Horseshoe, Uncle Mirza’s Traditional Technique
Hi again, I didn't realise you had so many sheep. Looks like the sheep of many families in the village coming together and I guess you share shepherding. How many does your family have . I love the rock walls in the village. Lovely place. 🙂 Oh you said wolves and leopards..According to a video I watched bears are in the north too. Is that correct ? 💜💜💜
"Hi! Yes, the sheep you saw are from several families in the village, and we share shepherding duties to make it easier for everyone. My family has about 100 sheep. I’m glad you like the rock walls-they’re part of what makes the village so charming! 😊 You’re absolutely right-there are bears in the north, but in our area, wolves and leopards are the main wildlife we encounter. Thank you for your lovely comment! ❤❤❤
@@Nomadic.Lifestyle98 wow 100 is impressive. Thank you again 💓 💖
Good information about the trees being planted by your granfather and still producing nuts. Ah, good man, I looked at the thumbnail and thought, I wonder if he knows to use fire to straighten it and make it stronger. Different woods need different techniques, I've done it with harder less flexible wood. The dog seems happy until the horseman showed up''..will make a decent guard dog later. I enjoyed the video Thank you ;-)
Thank you for your kind comment! My grandfather’s trees are truly a lasting treasure. Regarding the wood, I actually used fire here as well to straighten and strengthen it-it’s such an effective technique. The dog is still young, but I believe he’ll make a great guard dog in the future. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and appreciated these details. Your support means a lot!

Hi, how far is the village from where you were last week in the mountains? Are the sheep still there with your uncle or did you all come back? I'm confused the sheep were in long green grass and it's dry desert where your village is. I like your village. 💜💜💜
Hi! The village is about 12 miles (approximately 19 kilometers) from the mountains where we were last week. All of us, including the sheep, have returned to the village now. The difference in landscapes is due to the change in seasons. The mountains were greener during the grazing season, but now it's time to come back to the village. Glad you like the village! ❤️❤️
@@Nomadic.Lifestyle98 I like old traditional buildings. Last time I was in China I walked many times amoung the old homes and buildings (sections) of very modern cities. Has a lot more character. Maybe a video of a walk through your village would be interesting. Many find ancient architecture fascinating.
Thank you for your suggestion! I completely agree traditional buildings have a unique charm. A walk-through video of the village is a great idea! I’ll definitely consider making one to showcase the ancient architecture and the character of our village.
Thanks for sharing
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it
I wish I could shear by hand like you do! I’m not as skilled
Thank you! It just takes practice and patience. Keep at it, and you'll get there. 👌👍
Thank you, very few Iranian men are showing us how they used to make things. Looks simple enough, but to get all the brooms to be the same size shows experience. Thank you💜💜💜💜
Thank you for your kind words and appreciation. Preserving and sharing these traditional skills is a passion of ours, and we’re glad you noticed the attention to detail. It’s an honor to showcase the experience and heritage of Iranian craftsmanship. Your support means a lot to us!
@@Nomadic.Lifestyle98 Your too kind Thank you ;-)
Thank you. You are very kind to me.
Thank you for the subtitles Appreciate it ;-)😉😊
You're most welcome! So glad you found the subtitles helpful. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
Wow I have been watching Iran nomad (mostly fake unfortunately😪 ) videos for a long time. Last night was the first time I saw that machine. A lady in Turkey still uses one...Her subtitles work and she said it separates the milk from the cream. She makes oil from the cream and dried cheese from the milk. I'm thinking oil meanss butter and dried cheese is yoghurt. Maybe the same as what your grandmother is doing? Anyway very interesting. 💜💜💜
Thank you for your comment! Yes, the machine, called a cream separator (or Charkh-e Sheer in Persian), separates milk from cream. We use traditional methods to make butter (oil) and a type of dried cheese. It’s fascinating to see how similar techniques are used in different cultures, like in Turkey. What my grandmother does is very close to this process, and it’s part of preserving our nomadic heritage. I’m glad you found it interesting! 😊
@@Nomadic.Lifestyle98 Loved it ;-)
Seems like a lot more sheep and people, excellent. The grass is at a great height for sheep and donkeys, not too long,.
Yes, it has really become a beautiful scene. It feels like nature has come alive
Love this, good to see new people arrive. Working together well 💜💜💜💜
