    Hello, great review! im thinking about buying a Squatch link but my main concern is how much can to pack into the big pockets? Is it still smooth to take your discs out if you put a jacket or a hoodie in the big pockets? Or does a hoodie/jacket fit in one of the outer pockets? Cant find any review when someone actually try that.

    • @codywaldron86
      @codywaldron86 16 дней назад

      @@Nordh_DG so are you asking if I stuff the tall side pockets with a jacket is the rest of the bag still usable? So the side pockets have some rigidity to them, so even with stuff in them, discs still slide out fairly easily. Yes you can put a jacket or sweatshirt in them. I wouldn't plan on putting a heavy winter coat or anything super plush, but it does have ample room for stuff.

      @@codywaldron86 ok thanks for the answer. I've had problems before with other bags. When I put a hoodie or sweatshirt in the bigger side pocket the main compartment gets smaller so that you really had to pull discs out that was close to that pocket. when i see the Link bag, the side pockets looks really slim so i was wondering if that might happen with this bag as well.

    • @codywaldron86
      @codywaldron86 2 месяца назад

      @FlyNAA you are correct. The lore pockets are a little bit smaller. The Rufus can easily fit a couple discs on either side. While they both can fit the insulated drink holder, the Rufus is a little bigger. However, I don't use the side pockets for discs so both were more than adequate.

      @@codywaldron86 you reminded me about the other thing I like about the L2, the outer smaller side pockets. Fits 3 drivers or 2 putters, but only if there is nothing or very little in that main side pocket. But now it doesn't get the inside of the main pocket dirty, keeping it nice for clothes, etc.

    I bought the link and HATE it. The biggest problem is that the bag topples easily and discs are frequently rolling out. Wait until you have to chase your entire bag downhill. It’s a cool concept but the execution is terrible. The lip is too low so unless you are on flat land, it won’t hold discs. I would NEVER recommend anyone buy this bag unless the design is changed.

    Better padding than grip or other bags with rails? Lol…and some minutes later giving the „pro tip“ to put a piece of foam isolation between the discs and the back to make it more comfortable for the back.🤣👌🏻that was the best. It serves multiple functions such as keep the discs from going side to side and front to back, and also helps just the bottom of the discs from digging into my back. I did the same thing on my grip bags too. Many people stuff towels in the bag for this reason and it's a great place to keep for wet rounds. Have you worn a pound bag yet? @@codywaldron86 🙏🧔 Lmao just slow dowwnn .. I know the discs are cool and they will non stop keep making prints . Only grab the ones that will never come around again like a 2022 esp full color foil grateful Dead ledgestone buzzzz Or 20yr old stuff that has a patent # on it.. Prototypes .. If you like a certain disc color do what I did .. Make full set bags of all matching plastic and put the first runs in them the top discs. Use them.. only wall the " one of a kinds" Humans and dogs love the disc I've been playing 10 yrs.. Once you have a set bag with not over lapping flight numbers you have a tacky and premium plastic putter. My bags all have a envy /Luna Or roach / pure Overstable to stable.. Then once your bags you make can take on any course it's just what color you feeling that day.. I have 7 bags fully made. All troopers ..with slight mods I made myself to hold a mini and extra disc in the front.. no tip over as well... Then after you read all this get your bags in check..you can then start to trade them off for better or one of a kinds .. your empire won't fall it will get better and the discs you collect will be worth more then you haveing 26 destroyers ..🏋️🧑‍🎤 you got this Find the BEEF flight number zone money stamp .. that is the diamond in the rough..

    Have you had any issues with the putter pocket warping or the bag leaning? Mine came really warped and Levi sent me new inserts for the sides and putter pocket and it’s still doing it. Really a bummer!

      Mine is still looking perfect. I'm very happy with it. Sorry it is leaning. Levi is a great owner and will continue to take care of you.

    What’s your opinion on the bag now that you’ve had it awhile? Looking to get one of these myself when they restock next. Currently using a legend 3.0 it’s a little big and heavier than I like

      I love it. Definitely my favorite bag so far. I've used Thorpe's and Legends and both were too much for what I needed. This is the perfect of discs and storage for what I need. Comfortable and light, but durable. Definitely worth the price.

      @@KhufuhK Its not even close to the Rufus. The only similarity is that they are around the same size, which is a shit agument since tons of bags are that size. Its a smaller Squatch Legend, thats literally the goal when they designed it. Also, it was designed before the Rufus even came out...

    Thanks for posting- looking for my first dg bag. FYI- D-Rings are plastic/metal. Those fabric tabs are actually to give you something to grab to make using the zippers easier (straighter pull). You can certainly attach "whatever" but those are not the intended use. #packgeek
