UBS Chandigarh MBA Experience | Best ROI MBA College? | Detailed Review!
Sir my 10 is 85 12 88 Grad 8.5 cgpa and i am ews so what would be my ideal percentile ? And if dont clear sectional cutoff then can i get into ubs and on how much percentile
Sir when you took another attempt then did you did job in between ? Like what about gap year
Hi sir.. Whom they (UBS) prefer?... Engineering students, Regional people?... As i am a mumbaikar i have done BMS ... So can i still get admission?
No geographical preferences are there in UBS, bring good CAT scores perform well in GDPI. You’re welcome at UBS!
Bro if i get around 60-70%ile in cat with nc obc Will i get in the college?
That’s a borderline score, you may or you may not get it. Depends on the scores of other students in your category.
Hi bro, I've been watching your videos and the knowledge you impart truly appreciated, however I'd love to get your suggestion. My Background - Final Year Grad in CS(BTech) from Tier 3 , Kolkata. However I have noticed that I am not much of a software guy just dragging it for peer pressure. My academics are above average 87/85/80. Now my question is 1. Would you suggest preparing for CAT right after graduation without Work Ex? 2. Also If I join a non tech related job role , how much does it affect my profile in MBA interviews both during placements/GDPI (admission). TIA.
Prepare for CAT right away and get into a tier 1 Business School. But before convince yourself of MBA so that you don’t repeat your disinterest while doing MBA
bro how is sibm banglore ?
Won’t suggest, through snap only go for SIBM Pune or SCMHRD if you care about fees. If you don’t them SIBM Banglore is fine and it’s better if you look towards SIOM in case you’re interested in ops
@@SahilRamola thank you for the reply actually i am bba graduate and looking for non tech domain, talking about sibm pune and scmhrd no doubt they are top notch but to be honest sibm banglore , siib and sidtm are the colleges i am targeting and fee is the factor which i cant control since its symbiosis , CAT is something jiska i havn't even filled the form .. hope you will help
How much percentile is needed to get into UBS?
General category around 90%ile, 5 higher or lower depending upon the brand
Bhai please don't mine but aapka job kidhar laga tha aur package kitna tha?
Toppan Group
i am student of delhi school of economics and will want to know ur case journey couz have same thought on mind
Brother can u please tell decent percentile for a sc candidate please if u can i will very helpful
Bhai yaha se MBA in Finance kr skte hai kya? Please reply bhai
Yes!
@SahilRamola thanks bhai for reply 😊
Bhaiya UBS me PUCET bhi accept hota hai CAT ke ilawa mba ke liye?
Only CAT!
What are the core and non core courses in UBS?
MBA General (Core) (Non-Core) MBA Human Resources MBA Entrepreneurship MBA International Business
What is the eligibility criteria and cat score for Someone who wants to take admission in ubs chandigarh 's Human resource management program ,?
Cat score required for HR program for a general category aspirant should hover around 87-88%ile
Bhaiya what was the highest ctc of your class ?.....approx bata do
32 LPA for sales and marketing role
hats off bro...
Appreciate that mate! Hope it helps
Only 2.9 billion 😅
100th individual in Forbes Richest Indians List has 3.3 Billion 🥹
What a video bro
Thanks buddy, hope it helped
10 th 98% 12 th 82% Currently pursuing Bba 2nd year will get approx 8.5 cgpa How much percentile required? As gen and as obc .
As General for Core seat above 90-92%ile OBC has no rigid cutoff depends on the number of students under category but approximately 85% would suffice
In which program you get enrolled?
MBA Entrepreneurship
And if you don't mind can you reveal your job profile after that ?
@@sejalkherodia9885 My current job profile is Strategy & Market Intelligence!
Bro please make more videos on colleges where general category can take admission with lower percentiles and low fees.
Buddy, i only talk about things i have first hand experience with. MBA is a very important decision of anyone’s life it calls for time and financial investment and i can’t suggest things to people without knowing in and out of a college. Just a generic thumbrule, don’t take admission in colleges that aggressively advertise their MBA programs (newspapers or college website is fine but if you’re watching ads of a bschool on instagram that’s straight up a red flag) All the best
New delhi institute of management (ndim) kesa h placement wise mba k liye Plz reply
No idea, i don’t keep track of all the bschools. Pls, reach out to the current students of this institution and also check if they release their placement reports.
@@SahilRamola ok thank u anyone else from the ndim plz give their views regarding
Bro what's the safe score for nc-obc ??
Safe score would be above 80%ile
@@SahilRamola Thanks bhai ❤
Bro how much percentile is required for core program? I belong to NC-OBC category.
75-80%ile for safe side
@@SahilRamola ok bhaiya
Your cat percentile
Everything mentioned in the video already
Hi Sahil, your new subscriber here. I haven't filled out CAT this year so I read somewhere that UBS also accepts PU-CET(PG) could u please guide admission through this entrance. Btw Great content!!
Not really, for 2 year MBA programs UBS only accepts CAT score. The information you read might be for either Executive MBA Program or M.Com Program. Hope this helps!
Hey I m a BA student with good academics. Can i take up Mba or i'll face difficulty in placement?
Yes you can! MBA is not biased towards any stream. Commerce people find it easier in the 1st year but nothing significant. Fun fact - Usually the students who score highest GPAs are non-commerce background
@@SahilRamola thanks a lot!!!
what would be the cutoff percentile for a female, non engineer and obc candidate? (and i also have an excellent academic background )
Expect upwards of 75-80%ile for Core seat. There are no fixed cutoffs for reserved seats, depends on how many students apply under the category
@@SahilRamola one more query sir , which college is better for high ROI, DSE or UBS Chandigarh?
DSE
👍 can you tell which mba specialisation you did in ubs Chandigarh
I did MBA in Entrepreneurship with minors in Finance and Marketing
is ubs preferrable if i want to work in chandigarh? are people placed in chandigarh or all over india?
All over India and sometimes even abroad
What is the fees for mba core program?
15,000/- approx for a semester, check UBS brochure for latest fee structure
Hi Sahil, I have passed engineering in 2012 and then did Masters in Development Studies in 2016 from Delhi. Now I have 5 years 7 months work experience in Social Work. But due to stagnancy in career, limited growth, low package (7 lpa), limitation of work in rural/ tribal areas and explore possibilities I want to do an full Time MBA. My current age is 33 years and going to be of 34 in December, 24. My questions are- 1. Which MBA college and specialization should I target? I am not interested in sales and marketing, banking and finance, operations 2. Which program will better suits me to join- core MBA or MBA HR or Exec MBA or Rural MBA from IRMA? Looking forward for your guidance.
Hello, In context of your current position, i believe Executive MBA program is what you should consider preferably abroad if possible, if not then ISB in India. I suggest you to not have any mental blocks with regard to the various domains you said youre not interested in before you actually do your MBA. Given your age i won’t suggest any tier 2 colleges to you, IRMA would have been fine for you 5 years back assuming you’re not okay earning downwards of 15 LPA at this stage. ISB is where you should be at! they love candidates with such diverse profiles. Good luck!
@@SahilRamola Extremely thankful for the guidance. All suggestions are well taken. I just want to share that I am financially not strong so even thinking about ISB due to its 50 lakh fee. I also explored going abroad options but they are not very suitable due to financial constraints. 1. I have information that Phd/ FPM is not possible after doing Executive MBA, it's only possible after 2 year MBA. And I want to explore the opportunities of doing a PhD / FPM in Management after my MBA. Am I right in this regard? So is it worth doing an Exec MBA over a 2 year MBA ? 2. Kindly guide me about MBA from India other than ISB, if any? I found Global MBA from XLRI and Executive MBA in IIM ABCLI are some of the good options? What's your opinion on this? 3. I am not clear and confident about the admission in MBA and placement after MBA due to Previous work experience in Social/ Development sector. Will it hamper/ restrict my admission and placement opportunities in any way? I want my prior knowledge, experience and skills to be valued by my MBA college and peers along with placement companies coming in the campus for placement. 4. After going through the course work of all the MBA streams, I found myself only close to HRM while other streams like Operations need much mathematics, Marketing companies like freshers, Banking and finance is also I am not very fond of. I also value work life balance due to which I have chosen HRM. The General Management course of XLRI is also something I am looking forward to. What's your opinion on this? 5. I am not getting good marks in CAT Mocks. Well I have just started my full time preparations 3 weeks before. But all the sections seems very tough. And getting tier 1 colleges only demand 99+ Percentile cutoff and similar conditions with their executive MBA programmes through GMAT. My profile is General Male Engineer. My aspiration is just to get at least 15+ lpa post MBA with the kind of work cherish so that I can live the rest of my life out of condition of destitute. Lastly, what will be the best optimum solution by considering my profile, aspirations and constraints.
1. Yes, you will not be eligible for PhD in any university since UGC demands 2 years masters degree program or equivalent to be eligible. So, clearly if you have plans for PhD, Ex-MBA is out of the alternatives however you need to also understand that the experience you’re looking for (i want my college and peers to value my prior knowledge, experience and skills) would not as prevalent as it would be in Exec MBA programs for obvious reasons. So, first of all you need to accept that you can’t have all the sweets on the plate and have to have to choose either. If PhD then no exec MBA and hence ready to sacrifice the understanding you expect or the other way around. PhD requires a lot of time and dedication and given your age (talking statistically) it shouldn’t be a viable career choice, of course im no one to decide but do think of it in these lines, there’s no shame to even get a professional 1 on 1 consulting done for yourself there’s not much i can help you with here on comments. 2. Since you mentioned about the clarity you have for pursuing HRM i think you should definitely vouch for TISS exec program even over XLRI exec program, though both of them are great. 3. Like i said it won’t hamper if you make it to a Tier 1 Exec MBA program, folks in regular 2 year MBAs at tier 1 B schools are also mature enough to care but if you’re looking for some exceptionally professional and understanding behaviour Exec MBA is for you. 4. Yes, add TISS Mumbai to your list as well 5. I not gonna offer any sweet pills here, GEMs have the hardest time (highest number of aspirants, higher cutoffs and what not) you have to score accordingly. There are no free lunches, here especially if you’re a GEM. But believe me it’s 200% doable just get the right guidance and put your heart and soul into it, the satisfaction on the other side is immense, you won’t go wrong with it so just work smart and harder. If you make it to these institutions 15 Lacs is the bare minimum you’re anyways getting with upwards of even 60-70 LPA packages. At the end, kudos to you man. Having this will power at your point is admirable, i wish you achieve everything you desire. All the best!!
@@SahilRamola Dear Sahil, I am really thankful and grateful to you for the guidance and level of clarity you have given me. Thank you so much. Kindly share the way I can take your one-on-one mentorship in the near future, whenever required.
Hey, i just suggested what I thought made sense for you. You should consult with someone having 10-12 years of post MBA experience. There are a lot of friendly folks out there on LinkedIn if you try! Somebody who does this professionally
Yayy! Kudos to you 🙌
Haha! Thanks Teg ✨
Best senior ever! Really set the bar high!

Seen such a genuine content. Bhaiya plz just once make a video on the selection process or your gd pi interview experience???
My GDPI went really well luckily! Just be well versed with you under graduation subjects especially favourite subject (in case you are a fresher) If you have workex then expect some questions on the same as well!
My academic is very poor 10th 73% and 12th 49% in graduation 54% So possible i can take admission in UBH Chandigarh??
49% in 12th would hurt. 50% minimum required for general category
You are doing an amazing job thank you bhai❤
Bhaiya ap ke pass kis kam ka experience tha? Aur apna drop toh nhi liya tha na and I want to know more about your work
Took a year drop, prepared for CAT along with a job as a Digital Marketing Lead in a startup
@@SahilRamola thank you for your reply bhaiya😄
Does iit bhu offer mba?? Or is it ims bhu(fms bhu)
FMS BHU not a lot of people know it with this name that’s why i used IIT BHU
@@SahilRamola ok can you make a video on it too and why you didn't join that one
I am based out of Chandigarh only so for UBS i was not required to leave my home and hence less cost! Any which ways UBS is in all terms a better choice over FMS BHU.
very great video
Bhaiya, is IIFM good for MBA? Though I know it solely focuses on forest management studies, but is it worth it?
Yes, it's well know. A bit niche but always preferred over any tier 3 business school! Great if you have agri background.

Cat mat or any entrence exam mandatory hai kya bhaiya? Direct admission nahi hai?
No buddy, only CAT scores accepted at UBS
1. I want to get into hr. Will choosing mba hr over mba core , be a wise decision? 2. Placement process at ubs.. If I get selected in one company will I be allowed to sit for interview of another company?
1. Yes if you are clear about the HR field and find your interest into it, every year there are aspirants those who pick HR over Core. 2. No, you will generally not be allowed to sit for another company if you're already placed provided there are no exceptions.
@@SahilRamola thank you so much 😊
bhai how much percentile needed in cat for ews non engineer male canditate
93%ile + for MBA Core Program
Sir what u nean by non core admission??
Non core MBA programs include MBA in International Business, MBA in Entrepreneurship, MBA in Human Resources
@@SahilRamola which of these program did you choose ??
Hey bro! How was GD and Interview before admission in UBS??
It’s a game changer, make sure you perform well
For ews cut-off vary?
No separate cuttoffs for EWS, they only get fee concessions later on
Ok thnx
Very informative,thanks budd
Appreciate that! Buddy
