Thank you. I try to swatch my watercolors the way I use them so it's accurate for when I paint with them. I like to layer a lot so tend to not prewet them. This was also my first professional set of watercolor so perhaps I was a bit scared to waste them. One of the only times I prewet watercolors it was so mushy. Different brand but trauma lol

I have to be careful using the green when painting cause I love watching the green spread. It's like magical

That paper was 100% cotton rag. I buy them from Kreatima in Panduro locally as A3 pad and cut them smaller. Will try them on some fabriano and canson xl soon too

So far these seem to be fairly easy to color with. I had noticed the black edition are even a little softer. Will be doing some more stuff with those soon too. Now I'm wondering if I should try out my pencils side by side just to compare. Hmm. I know the softest I have are the coloursoft. But not everyone can buy those, they can be a little expensive. I think the fc black edition are the next but I'll have to check that to be certain.

Editing now stil, these have been collected over a fairly long time. I have issues with “full set syndrome“ as well so it's pretty bad sometimes. But it's not hoarding if it's art supplies right? Lol

They are so awful. Sadly it's not even worth trying to return the dmgd items. Art supplies should not be shipped in paper bags. All us Artists should start documenting and file a class action lol force em to use boxes

Hi and welcome 😊. I moved here in 2007 after a few years of traveling back and forth. Never looked back. It was a massive culture shock to start with, now if I went to visit I'm certain it would be culture shock too since it's been soo long. Duck can be pretty good but we only eat it twice a yr. Once at Christmas and once on Saint Hans Eve. So happy to hear that you enjoyed this. I have been redoing the cement tiles in my garden but will be back to filming this week. 😊

I havnt tried them with water no, something to think about. My only issue with the tray is that on the bottom one the pencils don't fit right, it's slightly to small for the pencils and they sit above it in a weird way. I have seen other sets that do not have this issue, so it could just be mine. The eraser that came with my set is so hard that I can't use it with pastels. I mostly use pastelmat so the eraser needs to be kneadable Works great as a normal eraser though. Thanks for the tips and for watching 😊

That's a smart idea with the erasers. This one that came in this box just doesn't feel right. But I use FC kneaded erasers so it's not a big deal. I am very thrilled with the selection of Grey's in this set. It's so many.

Yes they are fun. I took mine out and forgot about them for 2 day's lol so when I found them again in plain sight they didn't smell

Oh yeah that sounds so annoying, I will need to check on that too when I redo this test on paper that doesnt turn yellow hehe.

I havnt decided yet what I like more, but I have only been painting for as long as you can see here on RUclips. Though, I do love these sheeps wool brushes I got from Søstrenegrene, they are so cool.

That is a great tip, I havnt been using these lately as much as I should be to be honest. I will definitely get back to them though. As far as oil pastels, I only have these and the Faber Castell ones. I was going to order some better ones and just havnt gotten around to it yet. one of these days.

I am working on getting more comfortable with just talking at least sometimes. 😊
