When And How To Harvest Bananas Step-By-Step
I loveeee watching your videos. They are so informative. I'm so impressed! You definitely know what your doing..good job son!
10 feet is to close, you will see.
It will be a long time before carrie and orange sherbet covers pickering and when that happens, I will make the decision whether to remove it being that i already have 3 pickerings or trim carrie and orange sherbet to make room for Pickering either way it’s not going to be a problem. I can just leave them alone if I want. The only thing I will see is 🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🤣
Mangos in shade. Not a good idea.
Normally, they don’t have the structures covered. I believe they only put it on for December and January. A couple years ago most of their mango trees got really bad frost damage.
Soooo impressive!!
👍
Can you elaborate on Epson use?
I put a couple handfuls around the tree not too close to the trunk.
New subscriber here
Glad to have you!
Will you let either or both hold fruit?
Yes
Wow great place to visit ,or maybe not because I would literally go broke ill keep on adding more to my collection s that I already have lolll.
It is pretty easy to get carried away! 😂
so exciting!!!
😃👍
Most of my are pushing. My julie was the first. Fruit punch and Glenn are coming in strong, there are loaded. Guava, cotton candy, and kent coming along. West FL too. Close to Tampa
Nice! I hear Guava is pretty good. I haven’t tried it.
Your yard is looking amazing. I have a couple of trees pushing but I am concerned with next week dipping to the low 30’s in Spring Hill 😞.
Thanks!! I saw that, that’s why I can’t get to excited to see flowers coming. One night of frost and it’s over for the flowers 😡
Yes all my mango trees are pushing as well. Except for my Lemon zest. I live in the Central FL area. Near Oviedo. My Valencia pride tree has exploded everywhere hope everyone has a good season on mangos this year.
Awesome, hope you have a great season as well! I forgot to show my VP but it’s still sleeping.
It's amazing how you know all the names of these trees and all the variations of these 🥭 mangos soooo impressed!
👍👍
How many varieties are there?
Sorry I don’t know the exact number but I would say over 50
what nursery is that?
Tampa tropical Asian nursery
🥭 😋 Where is this?
Tampa tropical Asian nursery
I want to make a shelter like this for the winters.
Yes that would be a game changer.. 15-20 feet in height and in the summertime when you take the top off, you can trim whatever sticks out the top. That would make size management much easier.
Cool place, where is this?
Tampa tropical Asian nursery
Hasn’t been too bad yet…. Fingers crossed
🤞
From what I got from major grower vendors here in the Us have a surplus due to conflict in Israel, Ukraine and other countries in that area. Also internationally economies aren’t doing good. They would export but the demand has dropped. Same goes for Olives trees, dates and nut trees
👍
Thank you for sharing 👍
No problem 👍
I saw some Lowe’s going half price on fruit trees
On my way 🤣
I have my 1st monstera and live in Florida 9A rarely gets below 35
Nice!!
Absolutely gorgeous ❤
Thank you!!

not complaining.....just letting you know I can barely hear you on my Windows computer. Hear you perfectly on an Apple device. Good content none the less.
Interesting I will have to see if I can adjust the audio for the next video👍
Thank for sharing, we have all this trees in our farm(taranga farms, india, bangalore)
Awesome!! Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Great information in pots what fertilizer do you recommend.
I have a compost bin. I may put a scoop or two from time to time.
I did as you said and a strong mango smell was apparent. It takes that long 4 to 5 years to see fruit I was told 2.
That’s awesome!! Hopefully you have a good one on your hands👍
In 3 years old my breadfruit tree was already massive and produces 50+ fruit each season
I’m in growing zone 9b. They grow much faster in zone 10a and 11. Are you in Florida?
@themangovista no i live in Indonesia and breadfruit thrives here
@ Awesome!! I can’t wait to visit Indonesia.
Variety
👍
Just picked one up today. It’s small with 3 scaffolding branches in a 3 gallon pot.
Good size they grow fast 👍
Is it true that christmas loquat is ready near christmas?
A flower during Christmas but no fruit
Do you all ship trees out of Florida
Thanks for watching
I've got lemon trees growing all over my yard from critters dragging lemon rinds from my compost pile around the yard. I have leaf miners big time messing with the leaves.
Same here,I found Leaf miner difficult to deal with without spraying something.
Definitely protect that bad boy next month if it goes below 50, or you'll be surprised when you come in the morning.
I won’t protect it unless we’re going into the low 30s. This tree has done very well in the high 30s without protection
@@themangovista oh wow. Is the ma'afala variety different than others?
Unfortunately, I don’t know of other varieties but I make sure to give all my ultra tropical a lot of water on the days we get into those low temperatures. I think that helps.
@themangovista thats true it does help. I practice the same technique with my mango before a frost.
Where are you located?
Your bananas fared well during the storm.
Yea it wasn’t bad I only lost a couple racks 👍
Wow! Great info! Can't wait to try this! Thanks for sharing! Love the channel!
You got it! Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Where exactly is it growing in Florida?
I’m north of Tampa, Florida
Can they take full sun?
Yes 👍
Wow, that water!! We have mangos planted at the nursery, which has a spring on it, and because of the spring spewing water for like 3 months, a lot of mangos are also under water.. but they are still thriving and pushing new growth. Glad it isn't salt water <3 I'm sure by now you've already pruned and it looks almost normal.
Yea the mangoes don’t mind wet feet. Will be back to normal soon. I hope all is well with you guys.
Glad to see minimal damage and that you are ok.
👊
Sorry to see your garden destroyed. I hope your family is well. Thank you for sharing. I hope you can rebuild your garden again .
All is good thanks! I just got done cleaning everything up. The garden will be back to normal soon 👍
Thanks for sharing! Glad you’re ok and the garden didn’t sustain much damage! We are in NC checking the damage on our property after Helene and helping local community. Flying back to Tampa tomorrow to assess the damage after Milton. What a crazy year 😅
Yea man it’s been crazy.. My house in Tampa just got power.. I hope your house is okay.
💚
👍
Stay safe… hope it doesn’t get too bad over there
🤞 same to you 👊
Stay safe my man! Let us know how you did!
Thanks! Will do👍
What lake are you on if you dont mind me asking? I am also west florida, now its zone 10a where im at in New Port Richey area
Unfortunately, I can’t give you that info plant lovers do some funny things🤣🤣 But I’m 30 minutes east of you 😉
Are you planning to get any other Garcinia's besides the Achachairu? A Garcinia Livingstonei would be neat
No plans,i’m at the stage where I’m starting to pull some trees out.
Good info and nice trees!
Thanks 👍
