The Art of Exhaling: Perfecting Your FRC Dive Technique
好累
if too difficult start with 4 or 5s, 😊
橫膈膜抽動也要繼續嗎
Yes, you can keep going even if you have contractions, if you can keep your glottis closed .
What is the packing after recovery breath for? Thank you
I pack after the RV dive to fully reinflate the alveoli and help the blood (blood shift) around them to be pushed away (I have absolutely no scientific proof this actually happens). And it feels very good, I love the feeling :)
@@VDFreediving ok, thank you. Keep on rolling!
Thank you for sharing whole process of stretch! Can I also use this stretch as a pre-deep dive stretch routine?
Yes, you can, but Before a big dive, I avoid stretching too much. See your pre-dive routine more as a warm-up. You can use this one, simply decrease the intensity.
Thank you so so much for your advice! Well noted! I am struggling with my pre-big dive routine, so this is very helpful🙏
How do you reverse pack on empty lungs?
you need to start very easy with a few packs without forcing it. the flexibility of your diaphragm (its capacity to go up) will increase with time. A proper reverse pack does not engage the diaphragm, the air is sucked in the mouth by decreasing the pressure in the oral cavity (you lower your jaw or your larynx), then open the glottis and the air will come in to equalize the pressure. Then close the glottis and start again
This is very difficult to understand 😂😅💗 thanks for the reply, i appreciate it. I'll just stick with the basics @@VDFreediving
Come to see us in Taiwan, I ll explain :)

Eğitim için teşekkürler. Bu eğitim beni zorlamadı. Daha zorlu nasıl çalışabilirim. Statik rekorum 5.09. Kasılmaları ortalama 1.45 dk'da geliyor. CO2 tolerans tablosunuda Apnea time: 02.30 Rest start time: 01.30 Rest time decrement: 00.10 x8 yapıyorum. Hedef sürem 10 dakika, aynı zamanda astım hastasıyım. Benim için önerebileceğin farklı tablo var mı? Veya bir antreman programı önerebilir misin? Teşekkürler.
Hello, you can download an Apnea App and ask it to add 2s to the squrae breathing time every 3 to 5 rounds. If your first contraction happen around 1min45s, you can also do long apnea table (15 rounds minimum), each round you go to 1min50, that us the best way to train your chemoreceptors in the brain. Do these 15 rounds at least 3 times per week for a month, when it bevomes too eazy you pass to 1min55sbor 2 min.
breathe as much as you want betweeen the rounds. you should be completely recovered
And don't forget some Mf dips❤
F....yeahhhhhh ❤️
I have high hopes for this stretching routine :)
You can😊, it did amazing for me
Great exercises, thanks for sharing!
Thank you 😊
Super thank you 👍💯
you are very welcome
how many breath holds you do per day?
A lot, I really have included these breath holds in my daily life. I also do square breathing. I really believe that to force the hemoreceptors to adapt to CO² we need to do more that the classic 8 rounds CO2 table
@@VDFreediving great! So you do breath holds all day, one set at a time or like 3/5 sets every time you do that?
@@carlogozzoli1332 depends, most of the time I do many sets, I do not count
👍
👍
My balloon literally doesnt deflate... how do i even do it.... help...
Your soft palate is closed. try to yawn, to move your tongue, to relax your jaw. With practice you will gain awareness and will find the right position. I was exactly like you. Something with helped me is this: 1. Open you mouth 2. Breathe In at the same time through the nose and the mouth 3. Breathe Out at the same time through the nose and the mouth. . If you snore, it is completely normal, it is your soft palate producing that noise. That is the position you are aiming for when you do the balloon ecercise
Awesome 👍
Thanks 🤗
The problem that is never mentioned is that the inhale after a RV dive is pretty difficult and needs maximal attention
Very true, that is why there is a video dedicated to how to perfectly perform a recovery breathing after an RV Dive. ruclips.net/video/ssPoJOSA61M/видео.html

Hi, kapalbhati is hyperventilation. I'not sure this is good or not for Freedivers. How is O2 And Co2 working together in this Techniques, can you explain this please ? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Kapalbhati is Hyperventilation indeed. Hyperventilation should not be used before a dive as it could lead to a Black out. However Hyperventilation is a tool we use during dry training for many reasons. In the case of Kapalbhati, it clears the sinuses, and help to strengthen the diaphragm.
Thank you!
Thank You so much for sharing your knowledge❤

Very interested, thanks for sharing!!!
This is lovely, Anthony! Those reverse packs - what are those, and how do you do them, please?
i am going to do a video about them. :). they are a way to suck out more air out of your lungs.
What's that tool?!!
it is a breathing resistance device, very very cheap.
Whenever I do this kind of breathing, it seems like my breath resets itself with one big breath after a while. Is this normal?
completely normal :)
Thanks for the video. It is really useful.
Glad it was helpful!
英雄歸來的感覺
Warmup looks like hyperventilation
because it is, if you feel light headed, do it slower, maybe also you can lack flexibility, in this case Inhale and exhale less
Let’s do it! And BJJ someday.
The best!!!!
