Here's the debunking :- 1) Yeah, the word Hindu is of foreign origin, but that doesn't matter because the Indian word for Hindu is "Sanatan Dharma" 2) Sanatan Dharma or Hinduism is NOT a religion, but a philosophy and a way of life. 3) If the word Hindu didn't exist before the 19th century, then why did Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj wanted to create a Hindvi Swarajya ? Who created our 1000s of years old temples like the Kailash Temple, the Brihadeshwara Temple, etc ? 4) There is NO such thing as a caste system in Hinduism, the caste system was a british colonial imposition that was used by them to divide people. India had Verna system and it was based on occupation and people would change their verna if they changed their occupation. 5) Hinduism is largely made up of the practices and cultures of what people today call "lower castes". That is why almost ALL ST, SC communities still worship the same Gods/Godesses as they have been worahipping since thousands of years. 6) The aryan theory has now long been debunked. And it was rejected by MOST Indian scholars whether they were Brahmins or from other communities, including Golvarkar, you are misquoting him and taking him out of context. 7) So many of our great empires were founded, ruled and administered by "lower caste". Examples include the Solankis of Gujarat, the Maurya Empire, the Ahoms, etc. 8) The Brahmins were some of the MOST important people in the fight against the british and the muslim colonisers before them. "General category" does not enjoy any reservation. "UR" is "Unreserved" open to every applicant. General category only have access to 50% open seats. Obc have access to 50% open seats plus 27% reserved seats. Sc have access to 50% open seats and 15% reserved seats, st have access to 50% open seats and 7.5% reserved seats. General category student does not have access to any reserved seat. If an OBC/SC/ST candidate scores very well and gets the General cutoff, he will get general open seat. Naturally open category seats will be dominated by General candidates because they know they have access to less seats, so they will work hard to achieve a high rank. Meanwhile, reserved candidates tend to be complacent in their preparation because they know they will get a seat anyway.
