The Transit version has close to 2-3 inches of play each way. Was that intentional? Makes it very hard to install.

Does not mount to all Mercedes sprinter hinges! Found that out the hard way Also assembly instructions don’t have complete direction to INSTALL, came here and my hinges don’t match 😖

For the rotopax mounting instructions the lower 2 holes align with a support bar that runs across the back which prevents the washers from being flush. How do you recommend working around this?

Looks cool. I would buy it. However, there is a flow. There is no double insulation on the window or the flare, resulting in condensation dripping down and building the water pool at the bottom over time. Especially in the winter, you can't just cover it all day long.

It’d be great if you guys offered three tiers of purchase. Factory installed in Colorado for $X. Factory ASSEMBLED for $X. Assemble yourself for $X. Would gladly have paid a little extra to have it arrive assembled and just complete the final steps of installation myself. I understand why it comes shipped disassembled but it would he great if it came assembled for a fee.

My revel came with this rack and I purchased a rotopax but I can't for the life of me get back behind the rack to actually tighten the bolts, am I doing something wrong?!

This vid shows how to install foam and fabric but I think the problem might be you would want to install the flare to the van first. I love the helpful videos but they seem to lack advice about the order of install.

Need a position 3 flare that is 18” longer for the 3500XD

Nice video except that it’s missing two factors- For those of us who are removing existing windows to install, how critical is it to have the old urethane completely removed? It’s practically impossible. At the same time, the factory urethane isn’t in the same position as the new glue. It’s slightly farther away from the edges. So, if the old adhesive has been scraped down and thin as is possible, should it be ok? Second, nothing about the install on the alternate, powder-coated interior piece. The box includes a TERRIBLE one-sheet photo. Had I known that piece requires drilling new rivnuts I’d have gone with the canvas, as shown in this video. Cheaper and cleaner.

Looks Great! Any advice on bringing a Sur Ron? Does it need to be registered? I’ve kept mine unregistered (as a scooter in CA), and it does not have a Green sticker (for OHV areas). I’ve kept it off grid. Will I get hassled at the borders?
