@@Ltsteven1226yea same thing happened to me when i did exibition i one time i broke my thumb that i couldnt move it or it hurted

I was having the same problem; my hand would slide down the rifle as I would spin it and catch it. Just make sure that you are letting go and letting it come off your hand enough. If you just let it role off your hand and catch it( which is what I was doing, without knowing) your hand will slide down the more you spin it. Hope this helps.

To be honest with you good question. Yes when you're doing drill yes you're going to get head and get injured it happens but the more you practice the less injuries you will have. You just have to keep pushing forward. The way how the rifle hit me it was more like a blow so I really didn't feel it as much it felt more of like when you hit your head on something rather than actually taking a punch because it hit the side of my eye where the bone was so that's where I got a boxer split. Plus, I was showing off in front of a few freshman Cadets so I had to keep bearing. If you discipline yourself enough to keep bearing you will. It becomes second nature.

fair point, and do you have any tips on working on bearing?

@@riileyhud you have to mentally discipline yourself to not react. You just got to practice and develop a habit and trust yourself. Just like with marching knowing how to keep your military bearing when you're marching it's the same way as the same way you would be handling the rifle.

SkeletonPirate Add me on FB Steven Grant. Anybody can compete at a qualifier you just have to pay the fee and show up. Yes, you will have to travel and probably have to pay for a hotel but if you have connections you can probably stay with other people. World Drill Championship Qualifiers cost 50 bucks. World Drill Championships is 100 bucks for open competitors/people who didn't qualify; whereas for Qualified competitors it's only 50 bucks.
