1980 Hoylake & West Kirby Parade

A short montage of Pwllheli Harbour in Gwynedd North Wales, shot mostly on a DJI phantom 3A.

Just working on a new film trailer in preparation of the last year drones were legal in the UK.

My first few attempts at aerial filming with my DJI Phantom 3 Advanced quad-copter or drone depending on your politics. There are three locations in the film, Weaver Viaduct, Hoylake (from the Royal Liverpool Golf Club) and finally a short aerial of Pwllheli Marina. This is my first attempt at putting clips together from the drone and I am learning as I go, I hope to get better quickly.

June 2014; We have acquired a daily breakfast guest on the bird feeder. The nuts were going down far more than seemed normal so I set my action-cam up to film the feeder for a week in June. Here are some highlights.

Hoylake on the Wirral which is served by three RNLI stations, West Kirby, Hoylake and New Brighton, opens its doors for fund-raising with its annual open day. The Lady of Hilbre takes pride of place as do all village lifeboats. The Lady of Hilbre is a Mersey Class lifeboat and has been on station since 1991. She is number 5 in the fleet (12-005).
