Considering the busy nature of Shahrah-e-Faisal, was a traffic impact study conducted to evaluate the potential effects of increased congestion around the area? What measures are being taken to address this issue? Was the necessary zoning change from commercial to healthcare approved by the Karachi Cantonment Board? Could you provide details about the legal and regulatory processes involved in this transition? Were any environmental impact assessments conducted to analyze the potential effects of the project on the local infrastructure and community? Was there any community consultation or public engagement regarding the conversion of Regent Plaza? Are there plans to involve the public moving forward? As a concerned citizen who values both the expansion of essential healthcare services and the preservation of Karachi’s urban identity, I believe answering these questions will enhance transparency and foster trust. Your facts are not correct. Please donot mislead the people. The hotel has not been bought by Dr Razvi nor the Sindh Goverment. It is not a commercial venture. It is owned by a charitable trust The property will be converted into a charitable institution for the benifits of people of Pakistan. The money has been donated by expatriate Pakistanis

According to latest business model, hospitals are fastest money making business. For example, a hotel need a certain percentage of rooms to be occupied to make money which is a very high number. In Agha Khan Hospital you have to wait for the room maybe for days. This hospital is making billions. Now even Pakistani small businessmen own hospitals. Being the safest investment with the fastest return.

It was a really nice 4-star hotel. I stayed there a couple of times during a visit to Karachi.

This was a very beautiful hotel but it had incompetent and mutually divided Owners. I wish this hotel had stayed and worked in its original condition. I had a 2 decade long association with it. Feel it is a loss in a way.

Ambulance charges are so expensive, even rickhaw, taxi and other transportation is also expensive. So i in view it is a huge burden on patiens and their family.

How can a poor patient from Baldia, ittihad Town, Banaras, Orangi, Nazimabad, FB Area, FC Area, Patel Para, Nusrat Bhutto Colonay, Shadman, Nagan, Abdullah Town, Do minute Chorangi, Shafiq More, Gohdra, to hospital ? He will have to bear the transpotation which is costly now a days .

Hospitals required in down town areas and in villiges of sindh. It is not required main Sharah-e-Faisal Karachi
