How To: Ski-Doo Track Change
In this video, Pro Racer Eric Gleich walks through how to change a track on a Skidoo MXZ. This process is specific to the Gen 5 Ski-Doo. Gen 4 and older sleds will be able to follow this process but also need to remove the bottom gear from the chain case.
Eric swaps his Camso Ripsaw 2 to a Cobra track.

    To get the clutch out easier, you can pull the bolt from where the belly pan connects to the foot rail. This will allow you to pull the belly pan out enough to get the clutch out.

    Hello. Sweet sled. Is it me or are you missing 2 rivets on that little yellow skid plate under the belly pan?

    Good idea to hook a tow rope on before you take off. Easier recovery. 😅

    Great video ive never messed with my clutches been little intimidated but with that kit looks easy. Does that kit ship from the state's? Do you ship to Canada?

    • @GleichRacing306
      @GleichRacing306 28 дней назад

      @andythedrew7 I'm not associated with them, just a fan of the product. They ship out of NH, not sure about going to CAN, but I would say to reach out! If not skidoo does offer similar tools as well, but are more $$

    Kind of a loaded question but I am really interested in your perspective. With your experience how did you select the 600 instead of the 850.

    • @GleichRacing306
      @GleichRacing306 27 дней назад

      Racing XC we are limited to a 600 per our rules. On tighter trails I prefer the 600 over 850, feels more nimble. If you ride railroadbeds or something similar an 850 is great, but other than that the 600 is tough to beat

    Glad to hear an honest opinion on the new front end. Unfortunately I got the MXZ Adrenaline Blizzard so I didn't get the new skis. Going to try a set of navigators and Mavericks see how that goes. I ordered the Power Madd windshield like yours as well.

    curious on your thoughts on how the new polaris CC will stack up

    • @GleichRacing306
      @GleichRacing306 Месяц назад

      The polaris can certainly handle well. The doo typically has the advantage in bumps and motor. Will be interesting to see how the new polais goes with more midrange power
