Lilo and the pain of others Trailer | Ohne Stimme | Pasagen
The eleventh dance theatre project by Ohne Stimme, entitled “Lilo and the Pain of Others”, deals with the story and poetry album of Lilo Ermann, a Jewish girl who lived during the Nazi era. In 1943, she and her family were taken to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, where they were murdered by the Nazis. In the project, we deal with the Holocaust and the suffering of other minorities in connection with her life story. We want to remember the suffering of oppressed and murdered people in many voices, learn from resistance to every form of devaluation and exclusion, and keep in mind what is lost when violence prevails.
