GH5 + Zhiyun Crane in The Real World - Lynn Canyon, North Vancouver, B.C.
Просмотров 3,1 тыс.7 лет назад
Took out my recently purchased new camera setup: GH5, Zhyiun Crane and Panasonic 12m 1.4. Footage was originally filmed in VLOG, 4k 10 bit 24P, then graded. Still figuring out how to work the camera, so excuse the over/under/out of focus shots. Filming in vlog without a LUT was tough. Lesson learned, now using zebra and focus peaking. Another challenge on the shoot was the constantly changing l...

11 years later this pops back up in my feed. I almost forgot this track. And now it still gives me goosebumps
cool shot😀
This tune remains an automatic top 10 no matter what kind of playlist I'm making. It's better to be alone.....
HI is there any satellite signal to fly the drone ?
Really, really nice!!
Great vid man, love the song too. I've been there before and always wondered what's on the other side of the mountain.
Whats the Lut? Orange and teal mostly, what other small adjustments? desaturation greens? move the greens to more yellow? luminance? really like it :)
nice work. keep sharing more such work.
Hi Paisean, thank's for your great video, I don't know if you can help me with the following: How can I setup the focus to infinity in a Lumix GH5 + Metabones SpeedBooster + Tokina 11-16mm. I need to get everything in focus at the same time, is for a Real Estate video Walk-through using a Zhiyun crane v2 Gimbal Stabilizer. Excuse me if this is a too basic question. Thanks in advance.
Hey there, first thing you need to do is insure you have aperture closed as much as you can to increase how much is in focus. Accomplish this by boosting your ISO to offset the loss of light. Try not go above 800-1000. After this, just pull focus using focus peaking to get the preferred are in focus. Regardless, you may need to pull focus.
Is this Zhiyun V2? Nice video!
nice footage! I owned a GH5 as well and still learning to bring out the best of it.
Looks great, thank you for the info in the description.
Nice shots and grading make it have a cinematic look. Great choice of music to match this. I would say that a couple of the shots looked a bit choppy, but overall the rest were great.
Henry Dennis using the gimbal untuned for the first time was tough and definitely lead to some sloppy shots. figuring out what mode and speed is appropriate takes time. The dual handles are a must in my opinion. The rig is rather heavy and tough to move smoothly during those more dynamic shots. I couldn't imagine using this thing with a Sigma on it.
Have you seen Neumann films and Yuri Palma last Gh5 videos? They use Gh5 and Gimbal in outdoor conditions....anyway, some good shots here
I have. I follow Neumann films. You can get some incredible footage with this gimbal, just takes some time to master it. I really wish there was a decent pull focus system that could be used with it. Super tricky to pull focus without the gimbal freaking out
That is a big question mark...can't really understand how video like Concrete Jungle or Portrait of a Skyrunner ( Yuri Palma) can be done with an electronic gimbal instead of a steady like Graham uses...thanks for the answer
Loved this videos so much awesome shots!! Your editing is fire! Keep up the great work :) I make similar videos in my lifestyle section it would mean a lot if you check them out and sub back if you like :) Just subbed to you!
Great edit and location is truly breathtaking!😍
Beautiful!! The views from above are unreal haha. I went on a hike there recently and I recognized so many places! :) although my shots are not as cool as your drone haha. Subbed! it would mean a lot if you checked out mine too! :)
Did you ever end up posting a downloadable link mate? 5 years later and still love this song as much as the first day i discovered it <3
lovely husky. have one as well and just as full of personality
damn this is vancouver? looks dope!
Looove
Excellent work!!!
MUY PROGRESSIVE , ME GUSTA ♥
Fuckin sick work!
I can post up a link by the end of the week! I actually have this song scheduled to be remade, using all new techniques and equipment I have gained since making it, considering it was one of my very first tracks. I should be finished by the end of the month, then I am going to have it professionally mastered along with having downloadable for free.
Is there anywhere I can download a 320 version of this? I absolutely love this track!
This song to me is a classic
amazing song! In my opinion it just lacks something to make it sound more melodious but it is just my humble opinion and still it is a great production, keep it up
I used to spend hours, day in, day out, just dicking around, figuring out how everything works. Also, I was never really that big into EDM, I still, if asked, could probably barley list 10 electronic artists. I have done this to avoid sounding too much like everyone else. You must, after all, build your self to be you, and not anyone else, to stick out from the crowd. There is a lot noise out there. That being said, enjoy the ride, the music and the process.
Music knows no level of maturity or age. As I am sure you have already noticed, there are tons of young and popular artists. I have been producing EDM for just shy of 2 years now, and I do not have any prior "training" in music production. I did some classes regarding audio engineering, thats it. I would recommend any sort of training or programs, most are a a waste of money, and all the information you need is online - thats where I found it. Just be patience, join some forums and experiment.
electronic music? did you study it all anywhere? Like I said i'm new to this and still getting a feel for this but I love music and I love making music and would love to learn how to create something with a similar feel! :D on the other hand I don't have a facebook so feel free to send my yt account a message on what u think or send me an email at neonhousemusic@gmail.com . Do you think I'm too young to start pursuing this music genre? let me know anytime, thanks again btw.
Hey. I'm very grateful with the advice your giving me. It really helps! I've spent 5 years or so on guitar and bass so I know all about chord progressions and stuff, so I completly understand what you mean about the "richness and thickness" idea. On the other hand I'm not an expert on creating my own sounds with this similar feel. I bought an audio interface that came with ableton live lite, so i'll work with that. thanks again for the advice. How many years of expierience do you have with
Feel free to add me to facebook, and I will do my best to give you points, and help you along. I know first hand how frustrating it can be starting out, learning the ropes. You just have to respect the process and the frustation that comes a long with it, and above all, have fun with it :)
An example: the main "pluck/strum chord" of the song was made in omnisphere from scratch. How? 2 saw waves (one, one octave lower) a bit of unison, compression, a 1/8 trip delay, chorus and some reverb. Then, I took a low pass filter and modulated it with a LFO set to a half square wave |\ kind of looks like that lol on a 1/8 tripplet tempo sync, using a "note trigger" to trigger when I want the LFO to kick in (this probably all sounds like Japanese (no offence Japanese friends)
This song in particular is centred around the main chorde progression, which is in A# minor (most of my stuff is in minor) Learn your chords, if you wanna make stuff with this kind of feel, as progressive house is based heavily on its main chord progression. This song, like most of other tracks, has a lot of layers built on top of each other, to get a more thicker, rich feel. ( drums+ percussion+effects+pad+pad+lead (2-3 layers)+air/noise ) something along those lines. Also, read, read, read.
That being said, hardware is nice, but pricey, especially if you dont know if it whats going to work best for you. Also, it doesnt have a lot of growing room. I would buy a decent semi weighted midi control, a decent computer and a couple programs. Starting off, go for Abelton, I say this because it comes built it in with a lot of quick automation presets and decent synths. This way, you can start to gain a good grasp on how you obtain certain sounds, and effects.
Back in the day, I used nothing more than an MPC1000 and some old jazz and soul records. I then had a Virus Ti2 - which I didnt like. What I am trying to say is, its hard to say what is the best for each individual person. I went on this very same journey for what worked best for me.
cool. I'm just sort of getting into the house/electro music genre, and I'm only 15. I bought a small drum machine, a microKORG, (if you know what that is) and some speakers and an audio interface. what do you recomend for me? I love this song, and I would love to create something with the same feel. Let me know what u think I should get as far as equipment goes.
Cubase; This one is made almost entirely from Omnisphere.
amazing sound d-_-b
Love the song, what software do you use?
