How to Remove Any BLOOD Stain From Clothing, Sheets, or Fabric
Blood stains come in two distinct types: those that have been exposed to heat and have subsequently been cooked into the fabric (known as set-in blood stains), and those that have not been exposed to heat (blood spots).
The methods discussed in this video will work well for all types of blood stains - fresh, old, and ones that have been set in with heat.

    Should I dry the cloth before adding ammonia, or should it applies when the cloth is still wet?

    I find that spraying with warm water, then blotting (capillary action with pressure. I stand on the area to soak up as much as possible) thoroughly before applying the enzyme cleaner to sit for 8-12 hours works best. This way the enzymes aren’t having to work on the full force of the urine but, rather, just the remnants.

    If I remember my high school science correctly, all smells are microscopic particles of whatever you are smelling. Then it makes sense that if you remove the urine you remove the odor. My guess is the humidity in the air reactivates the dry urine particles when they get together.

    Thank you so much,😃 awesome channel. I also love the video you have on how to get furniture dents out of the floor, that's so clever. I am curious, how do I remove a white stain on grey carpet. I originally spilt a glass of soda water. I used a bit of dishwashing liquid in water to clean it up, however that left a really large white stain. oops 😬 I couldn't find that one in your videos, is it in one that I missed? Thanks so much

    I tried this using Cream Peroxide Developer 40volume used in hair bleaching because this is what I have and it surprised me, the old blood stains on a blouse I refuse to discard is 100% gone and no damage to the colored fabric, two thumbs up for this one but please wear gloves the product penetrates the skin and will irritate.

    What would cause hydrogen peroxide to discolor carpet? I tried this method at work. I work in a casino cleaning penthouses. I had a urine stain to remove and I used the same 20 volume developer, i didn't have any amonia just the developer. I left it alone for 1 hour. When I came back to check there was a white stain to my surprise

    • @karenv6604
      @karenv6604 Месяц назад

      @@alaricmbooh3628 I saw a different video from this same creator on removing set in urine stains and he sprays the developer, ammonia, and then puts a plastic wrap and a pot of hot water 158°f on top and left it for 30 minutes. What I did was wet a towel and put it on top of the stain and then a steamer but the steamer I only left on for 5 minutes and then I turned it off. I did it to warm the towel since I don't have a pot of hot water at work. I've been told that the carpet is wool and "hand painted" these are expensive luxury rooms. Could be the reason why it got discolored it's not synthetic dye on the carpet. Well I messed that one up. I'm a bit stressed out. Manager didn't say anything when she walked the room but tomorrow the guy station in the penthouse comes back from his off days. I'm there to cover him. He will definitely say something

    @TheStainGuide We tried this in a room with a lot of spots. Maybe 30-40% of the carpet is glowing under the UV light. We tried it on about 1/2 the stains. It got rid of most of the stains we tried it on. The smell in the room changed. But there is still a smell. It's not the urine smell anymore. Something else, maybe ammonia? What are your thoughts?

      If your problem is that severe, (as was mine) with repeated accidents in the same spot, the underlayment may be more saturated than expected and need repeated treatments. Also try more solution per spot as you may not be encompassing the entire spot. Lastly, some materials absorb liquids that cannot readily be cleaned like base boards, drywall and subflooring ie plywood. Try painting with a sealing, odor neutralizing primer coat. I hope this works for you. The stain treater is new to me and am optimistic!!
