@@aarshay it's all stock actually, I really like the pick-ups, very bright and authentic strat tone. Later on a few months after this video I replaced the pots because they were scratchy.

Thank you! To be honest the amp sim setting shape a lot of the tone as well. I've found that you can get a lot of tones out of this guitar.

@@damndaniel666 so it's all Helix Native software. The tone preset is quite simple though: it's a cranked Klon pedal into a Blackface Fender with a fair amount of compression and reverb.

@@priortempore_ thanks! the Duesenberg gets a surprisingly nice jazz tone and has super low action which is handy for faster tracks like this.

Hi, I haven't played the Player II Strats so cannot compare. However this guitar definitely doesn't feel like a toy, if anything it feels more expensive than it really is. Guitars are a very personal thing, but for me, I prefer this PRS over most Fenders I've tried. I recently sold an American Strat because it wasn't getting much play compared to the PRS - hope that helps!

Are the frets level? Do the big bends choke out?

@@SiddharthKarunakaran the frets on mine have been perfect from the start so no never had any issues bending or fretting.

@@marcecoellook thanks! I use Helix Native software these days mostly, some amp Sims can be quite bright by default so I usually roll the neck tone 50% and bridge about 70% of the way to get a jazzier tone for these recordings.

​@@tokyo6992 many thanks! It's all Helix Native software - I was just trying out some new patches - it's essentially a driven Klon (called Minotaur in Helix) into a Fender Blackface amp with some added spring reverb and compression 🙂 and it's a American Special Strat with Texas Special PUs

@@SmoulderingWick hello, thanks for watching. I'm using Line 6 Helix Native software on both videos - the patch is a spring reverb into a klon type pedal and then into a Deluxe Reverb with some compression. Hope that helps! I usually have the volume and tone on full on the guitar.
