红色那个电池是PROTOOL的，Protool和festool是同一个公司的不同系列，所以可以用在FESTOOL上，2015年以后就没有PROTOOL了。现在这款电池也是绿色的FESTOOL电池了，FESTOOL四档变速的冲击无绳钻就是这个型号的电池。

I just purchased a 1st gen wave from a hawkshop for 60 Canadian. The blade was broken and the pliers were wobbly. Its has 2 years of warrentee left. I sent it into Leatherman and they are hooking me up with a new blade and new plier head.

Thanks for the comment. I am happy with its capacity up to cut 85mm material, which is why I got it. It's not any louder than other circular saws in my experience. I don't single-hand cut anything with it, for its size, weight and safety reason as well.

@@wbezs HK85 is 7.9kg, with crosscut rail heavy as well. HK55 is 4.4 kg and very compact, I would not suggest that you handle HK85 as HK55, HK85 isn't for light cutting.
@@solidwoodworker i understand, but 55 is limiting in deep of cuts for my workflow so it will be hk 85 and will need learn to handle total weight. Thank you

@@numerousid6478 😅抱歉，描述可能有歧义。新的有这个型号，但是新的型号不是这样的款式了，新的都设计有吸尘管收纳空间和绕线的结构且再后来的设计还有T-Loc的扣。但好像就不含封门附件了，需要另外购买。

A nice looking guide but I'm so glad I learned to sharpen free hand , so much less fuss . I'm back to work with the tool in the time it takes to set a guide up though if I have a new chisel or plane iron I do used a guide to check its square to start

I had one of the first Leatherman waves, after 10 years I sent it back to Leatherman and asked them to replace two worn and broken blades and send me the cost. They returned a brand new tool at no cost. What a great company and product, still use it every day.
Tim Leatherman is a great man, never met him personally but you should read and watch his articles and videos. Such a down to earth guy! His company and products of top notch. I have all three of the wave series and many other models.

i don't know whether you are from taiwan 🇹🇼 or china 🇨🇳. but i guess your review style is good for displaying tools in short time. long review takes some time for me to recognize its all displaying tools.
For me, it's more like a displaying than a review. I prefer the tool to reveal itself. :- )

Tengo una wave plus y la verdad me parece una herramienta mediocre, sus pinzas son débiles y pellizcan la mano pues los mangos se juntan, los usos se aflojan, la tijera es ridícula y está llena de "hot spots".... Personalmente creo que son muy mejorables y nunca podrán estar a la par de una Swisstool x... Lo único que me gusta son sus hojas de corte de acceso a una sola mano.... En fin, cuestión de gustos

@@solidwoodworker Hi, thanks.... I was saying that even that i regonize is a tool i use often I think is not as good as it might be. I should not compare it but I can not help to do it since I 've got a swisstool x and in my opinion it's a superior tool. The wave's uses got loose, the cissors does not work well and it has a lot of hotspots that hurts the hand and pliers pinch also beacouse it closes over the hand... I'm sorry if my commentary have redaction errors, my english is not too good... Thanks for your video, tho I know l the Leatherman lovers are going to hate what i said... I only like the one handed blades... But again, it is a tool that can and should be better, considering the price and fane it has....

saludos para mi esta navaja o multierramienta es la mejor ya que tiene muy buena solides. y es muy practica . hay otras que cuentan con mas accesorios pero terminamos en lo mismo en aquello que es lo mas practico y sin ecceso de peso o cosas que te dan el mismo resultado aunque aqui en mexico es muy dificil conseguir estas navajas o accesorios para los camping.

As I understanding, it's a feature to preventing slippery when handling smooth and/or stiff material as such. Wish it would answer your question.
