That road was making my nerves bad and I wasn't even the rider. You make your videos too real. Where the heck was that road you really didn't want to be on?

I was expecting a yee-ha when the car pulled off the road into its drive. That old Roman road is wonderfully straight but no test of your cornering skills.

I have the Land Rover Defender 130 but don't have the optional boxes fitted as they are a bit of a gimmick really.

You have inspired me to go on that Codicote Road again. First bike ride along there in 30 years today on a 30 year old (new to me) Honda CD 250 U. At 70 y.o. I took it really steady though.

I love the way you use space time portals to get from going north west on the Luton road to going north east out of Hertford.

We forget that being riders, we have better observation than most people. A lot of these are just regular drivers being regular drivers (ie bell-ends)..

That Welwyn Codicote Hitchin road won't be the same when they build super-Stevenage to your right.

From memory and the bikers I used to know in the 70s and 80s the worse one for speed runs round that way was the A1198. I can't place the B1000. By the way, it is now mid June and the rough bit near the end of the Tewin road is still as bad as ever.

Just a quick interjection, I think the point of that horrible scarification on the surface is deliberate to actually prevent motorcyclists in particular, from speeding. That road (B1000) was notorious in the 1990's with several fatalities. It makes it unpleasant to ride now, even at sensible speeds, Sorry carry on.

I knew the moment you came to the junction that you would spot that pothole. I must have been at the junction around that time and I predicted then that you would have something to say about it in your video!

Definitely getting out on your bike more than I am again this year. I dunno if I completely missed the regular visit to Morrisons for refueling that you mentioned coming up but I kept thinking its a long way away :-)

I think you like the A68, great weather and it wasn't too busy either. Not 'The Wilderness' but in late spring Lauderdale and southwards through Teviotdale always look fantastic. Enjoyed your video. Cheers man

You getting your petrol in Morrisons WGC reminds me of a garage between Woolmer Green and Tewin where the owner dispensed petrol from hand operated pumps (about 45 years ago mind).

Good to see you are out n about. The only addition I have that compliments the warmth for the coldest days are the heated gloves and very occasionally the heated inner jacket - both by Gerbing. Both work very well - especially the heated gloves. Combine a low setting on the heated bars and a low setting on the heated gloves and it feels like summer.

They are the Knebworth Park red kites but we have a trio in the fields between Knebworth and Stevenage. 3 seagulls too.

I’ve enjoyed your videos through the past months/years. Can you provide me with some detail on how you have fastened your Go Pro above the SatNav? I have a 2020RT and it seems like there wouldn’t be sufficient room below the windscreen for mounting the Go Pro in that location.

That area of cuffley has many people signed up to a private security firm that leave a differant car outside a property regually. They look like cop cars. Bike looks and sounds sweet !

A very standard day on UK roads. Shocking, but your defensive riding kept you safe. It's why I get across to Europe as much as possible.
