This was a good watch Tessa. It reminds me of my first experience albeit different. It was a smart choice to practice and I'd always recommend doing so (esp if you plan to ride the 50km). During your ride its clear to see the better line choices and confidence in your riding from the previous so well done on that! Your video will resonate with many newer riders in a race environment which is the predominant demographic representing at these kind of things. That sound of that buzzing sounds like your mudguard rubbing against the tyre??

Sub'd - I've only started mtbing and been doing Sesame Street, Daddy Longlegs and Family Loop - I did not realise the grade 2/3s were very flowy and good for beginners, will hit those on Wednesday. Cheers Tessa.

Nice to randomly meet you this day Tessa and i like the pacing of this video with the sub titles (i reckon adding more Chinese ones in future would be cool as - respectfully). You totally could be on the podium with your pace so i trust we see you in 2025!

Definingly have another go next year, you were 30 mins faster than I was(my 1st time) and making it look easy. I think your about 2 levels up on my intermediate skills. Thanks for the video as I was not sure I could cope with getting my GoPro's to work for the whole race, so I decided not to try, and you've given me the footage of the course. Cheers.

Ouch. Crashed and landed my sternum onto my bar end once. Very painful. Took a few weeks to heal from that one.

Happend to me once but when i looped my bike, basically falling on my back. I couldn't breath for a few but thats normal somtimes.
