Greater Lansing Aikido, Lansing MI US, is affiliated with the Aikido World Alliance (AWA), an international group of Aikido Dojo that make an Aikido "family." AWA is governed by a Board of Directors, and maintains a Technical Committee of Instructors. At the head of the AWA organization is the Founder and Chief Instructor: Andrew M. Sato, Nanadan Shihan (7th Degree Black Belt); Kiku Matsu Dojo, Chicago IL US. AWA is affiliated with the Aikikai, Hombu Dojo, Tokyo JP.
