Went through that way too quickly. Gotta pre-spray, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then go over it 50% slower so the brushes can actually scrub the carpet fibers. Encapping is definitely quicker, but not that quick if you want good results.

Hey Brian, Ive got a question hope you can answer me. The gentleman was doing the prespray for you, so does that nean you were using the machine as an extractor or an agitator? In other words, Do you have to do anything afterwards or the cleaning process is done after you used the machine? Sorry for my bad english, i hope you get my question. Many thanks

What is your chemical and dwell time? I'm use to weight being a factor in cleaning, but that isn't the case with the Rotowash.
I ussally only wait about 10 min, or while I am setting up my equipment

Hi are you using the abrasive brushes on that concrete ? , whats this like on Stone outside survaces especially stone . ?
Standard brushes work fine, hard brushes for stripping or rough concrete
Hard floors are drier than when using a mop, carpets dry 1-2 hr

How does it do on Berber?
Does great on Berber, because of the way it scrubs you don't have to worry about lose of suction
Pre cleaning? Does that mean there’s more steps to this machine? I thought it was a scrub and go type of thing
Depending on the amount of soiling, I will go over traffic areas from multiple directions before I run the final uniformed lines
But shouldnt you go with grain to remove in between the boards.
Rotowash does a good job from either direction, however if it is heavily soiled in the cracks then I would definently clean from both directions
Great video , thank you. My Rotowash drum doesn't revolve but the brushes do. Possibly needs a cleaning inside the drum or some other problem. I hope you would make a video on the drum mechanism of the rotowash. Thanks again.
The C gear runs the drum, the Drum could be stripped

What pressure do you use for carpet cleaning?

@@brianellis1230 No. There's white button on the right side (minimum, medium, maximum)
When brushes are new, I always have them on min, as brushes wear I increase pressure, I don't really change pressure for carpet, hard surface I increase to max

You all clearly have no idea on what you're doing. You're doing twice the work and taking up twice the time by raking an area, walking on it and raking it again. Develop a better system.
Thank you for your positive feedback, this carpet required more raking , most carpets can be raked one way, but if we want to get all the marks out we will double rake when we have run the Rotowash in a different direction than we will rake the entire, business is great , considering we have no idea what we are doing, best regards

You use standard brushes for cleaning oiled parquet?
We had cleaned this customers floors previously with the standard brushes after testing a small area with no problem, but I recommend using the soft brush and always test an area, she asked us to use Murphy's oil soap, I have been told that it isn't the ideal cleaning solution.

What solution do you pre-spray?
When I use my rotowash on residential carpet it pulls out lots of fibers and I make sure I adjust it on maximum hight.
