Avoiding noise on Smart Plugs,
Smart Plugs cause noise in power lines that cause interference in Powerline networks adapters, i fix it adding safety capacitors
This is a basic filter copied from a cheap power supply.
Although not shown, all capacitors are soldered.
This is what I did to fix it. It is not advice. Incorrect use can cause fire, there is a risk of electrocution in the sockets. I am not responsible for anything.

    Is it possible to share more details about the development of this project? I really love this application of VR and believe that this could be an important part of the future. Tried using UE4 for a project like this but find not many resources. This video is the closest thing I can get so far.

    Not working for me. I first tried creating a BP actor with it's own Mesh and creating the Dynamic Material in the constructor, but didn't work. Then decided to replicate exactly what the video has and didn't work. **edit: I finally got it to work! I opened the Font, added a new one, selected a size closer to 100 and voilá!

    I tried it and can't seem to get it working... I have a skeletal mesh and am trying to get the text to draw on this item that has an animation. I was wondering if that has anything to do with it? Can anyone upload an example of this online?

      to apply material on skeletal mesh, in your material details panel, scroll to "usage" section and check "Used with skeletal mesh". This will allow you to apply your custom material on it.

    Had to go about it a few times but eventually solved it, thanks mate! For everyone else, as someone else here said - remember to turn off the "Context Sensitive" option to find the "Set Texture Parameter Value" part (the last module in the chain inside the Blueprint) - it's the check box on the top right when you right click!

    In following this for UE 4.12 the "Draw Text" node does not have a Target pin, it has a "Context". You should turn off the Context Sensitive option and search for "Draw Text" and you'll see a different Draw Text node listed under Canvas.. which is the one you want

    This is awesome stuff! Great job :D I know you are using an HTC Vive, but what are using for the hand/arm tracking? Looks like there is finger tracking so I'd assume Leap Motion but the HTC Vive comes with two controllers so maybe you have the buttons programmed to do the movements.

      +Chris Robertson isn't HTC Vive they do not want send me one devkit :P its a DK2 + Leap Motion. If i have those controllers... awww but with the Touch i can simulate easy the fingers.

    My Score resets on 10. It goes form 1-9 then goes back to 1 after 9. Any suggestions please ? I would also like to know how to create multiple items. I try to duplicate the enemy and change the mesh and it doesn't work once I place it. I try to create a child blueprint of the enemy and change the mesh to something else and that doesn't work either. I seem to be stuck using whatever original mesh I start with in this case (a bird mesh I use) It works fine just as the video explains. I would be willing to pay for tutoring to learn how to do these 2 things. Please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you. Richard*edit* When I create a child blueprint of enemy and then add it to level blueprint it works like the others BUT if I change the mesh on this child blueprint then it no longer works.

      +richard jenkins that not score tutorial, that was a fast example i do without think too much for show one thing to other ue4 user and its very limited. There are better (or correct) ways for doing a Score System and treat the hit result, that depend of what do you want. And normally you want block the projectile on the mesh not overlap (i think i do that in the tutorial not remember), destroy the projectile on hit, and more.... Perhaps if i have time i do a tutorial but i haven't too much time ATM, About your problems, normally the best thing its use the same EnemyBP for all your enemys, your place your enemy in the level and change the mesh, or spawn a enemy and in the constructor random switch the mesh and behaviour. The mesh must have collision on, and a collision box or any other type, check collision on mesh. For check if you hit a enemy you must cast to enemyBP and then with the result if true, kill, damage or anything you want.

      +diegargon I am making a hidden objects game, I have over 30 maps done now thanks to you I have a score system. My only thing left now is to connect the levels together. I used this score system so all I need to do now is figure out how to say If score is = to 9 then load another map or display another actor. I know how to load other levels and other things. I just need to know one thing. HOW DO I MAKE THE GAME END OR LOAD ANOTHER LEVEL ONCE THIS SCORE SYSTEM IN THIS VIDEO REACHES 9 (or any number I chose)

      Understandable, this was much better than any other inventory tutorial going though. None the less thanks for the little boost and I liked the way you showed how to do some simple drawing methods in the first video. It is a shame when people do excellent tutorials but receive no attention just because it's not flashy/no talking like all the other nonsense on youtube. Lot's of people posting tutorials identical to each other but this is one of a kind ^_^

      Toxic™ - Graphic Designer i have few problems, i not remember all, , with drivers in Gimp, substance (substance was stupid fail mine hehe), and pressure. Now works fine. If you write your specific problem perhaps i can help you, but i gave too many turns on that subject
