I can totally picture this as an actual film if Pokemon came out in the 80s and was given a tie-in movie. The ones where the director has almost no clue what Pokemon even is, but it was on TV once and it’s super popular so it’s gotta be made into a film! Ash, Misty and Brock are played by actual kids/preteens and they get transported into the world of Pokemon, except they can all talk and sometimes the mouth movements don’t line up with the voices because of the prosthetics, and much of the names are pronounced incorrectly. In fact it’d basically be a film very loosely inspired by Pokemon than a proper adaptation, but it makes a ton of money anyway.
