    Hmmm. But why? Why would you pay that kind of money for a boat to sail against 3 other boats at Cowes instead of dozens of Dragons. Similar concept, more beautiful lines, better racing?

    A question for anyone who knows the class well - it appears on the downwind legs that the mast is canted well forward. Is that an illusion or is the backstay released to allow the mast to tilt forward - or am I completely wrong?

      yes, rig forward downwind is std procedure in many classes I think, very pronounced in e.g. the Star

    Good grief - 15 to 20 knot wind. Where I come from thats when everyone goes sailing! I do appreciate that the 5.5 metre is not the most stable of yachts directly downwind.
