The Usagi one is Sailor Moon! I was obsessed with that show when I was a kid. Her name in the original Japanese versions is Usagi, but in English they changed her name to Serena. You can tell it’s her by her “meatball head” hair. And the cat’s name is Luna ❤

Hello there! Thanks to all my running around the midwest, I can confirm the Kwik Trip in WI has expanded to be a 'midwest' chain. MN has them and they are THE place to go! Kwik Star is also part of the KT family (I've seen them mostly in Iowa). Totally get downsizing coloring to make more room for DP! I'm trying to downsize this year, especially when it comes to my crafts. I still color and DP, fairly equally, so I think they are safe. BUT, my scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies are in need of a purge. It's taken me a LONG time to accept it's okay to let things go and not focus on the $$$ I spent on the item. Especially if I'm not using or honoring the item. The 'extra stuff' creates clutter in life - physically and mentally. I don't need any help heightening my anxiety....too much stuff easily pushed me over. Hugs always!! 🏈

So I got into diamond painting because one of my coworkers brought in a completed kit from paint with diamonds. I told her she was absolutely insane an that it looked tedious as heck. Well she kept bringing them in and I got sucked in. Obviously I was completely wrong and now I'm the one still obsessed years later. 🤣💎

Thanks this was fun ! I don’t have a channel so I’ll answer your tag here. I started diamond painting in December 2021 saw a diamond painting ad on facebook for diamond art club. I of course started with Amazon kits to make sure I actually liked it , did those for close to a year before I actually bought from diamond art club (I know a little cringy but listen I knew nothing about stolen art and quality) Mushroom Dragon by Stanley Morrison was my first DAC purchase blown away by everything(all the remaining kits went to the trash) and here we are 3 years later. My favorite things about diamond painting are the art so many pretty pieces, it’s relaxing helps tune out my anxiety on high anxiety days, the community is amazing, it’s a fun hobby, and love finding new artists!

I’ll totally do this tag! It IS satisfying to Diamond paint! 💎

I love diamond painting for so many reasons. All of the ones you mentioned certainly apply. I feel like I am learning about artists, what styles I gravitate toward and enjoy, all the great companies that license this beautiful art for us to enjoy! I came to diamond painting in 2022 after seeing an ad on RUclips. I was watching a video with my daughter and we both were intrigued. She is artistic and I am not, but I enjpy crafts that don't require a ton of imagination...lol. like you, I started in the unlicensed land of Amazon. It took me awhile to join in the community and find DAC, Jaded Gem Shop, DD, TOWTDA, and many more! That happened in 2024 and the true obsession began. I have thought about starting a channel because I love sharing my excitement over all things dp and I don't have anyone IRL that is as interested as the dp community is ❤

Nice WIPs! I finished a snack size canvas called New Moon from DACs Amazon store. Have two big WIPS going into February probably won’t be finished but that’s ok!

If you store your mini canvas's underneath your drills (so they are laying flat against the box) then I don't think they'll buckle anymore because I think that's happening because they're being sandwiched in the middle 💖
