I've been watching quite a few of your videos, don't think I really comment often, but you asked a unique question. Not one that is commonly asked. I'm also very methodic in diamond painting. I don't like the canvas one completed ending in my lap and I don't flip my canvases. But I start in the top left, going left to right and moving down. The completed canvas just ends up hanging off my desk, but I think it's really neat coming together that way! ❤

i noticed you dont washi tape the sides, do you have any tips on how to avoid the borders getting gunk

I work the same way as you - bottom left and then row by row, and then usually row by row from left to right. You have great completions! Your WIP and chats have inspired me to get Inside Watery Eyes. It’s on its way to me! I had 2 completions in September but one for then was completed on 9/1. The other was done last week but it was also a carry over. I’m mainly focused on my drills and chills canvas which is almost finished.

Being left handed, I tend to start on the left hand side and work across. I've learned that if I work all around the canvas, from the outside in, when I get to the middle of the canvas, I end up squeezing and popping drills. So now, I just start on the left and work all the way across so I don't have that happen again

I always start at top left and I don’t go by row, but always top to bottom. I lean on the bottom of my canvas so I couldn’t do bottom to top, especially with rounds. I’d get all my shirt fuzzies in there lol. I roll my canvas over a pool noodle and never get how someone works on a whole flat canvas. Love how everyone does it differently.

Do you wash your 3d printed trays when you get them? I'll sometimes have problems with the drills sliding on new trays and it's usually because of static. I'll also usually wash them after I'm done with a kit. But I haven't used a firefly tray in a while either. Just got some in yesterday though so hopefully they work well. 🤞

I love love the Watery Eyes! I just got it through restock, I am going to work on Satura after Drills and Chills as my first Morales but since these are so pretty I want to do all the Morales with DP with Sparklers kits!

I'm listening to Kelly Bishop's memoir right now, also! She's so fun <3 You def made the right decision to listen to the audio. Listening to celebrity memoirs is one of my favorite things!

I sat this week out, I’m saving up for Black Friday. It was hard to forgo the Margaret Morales piece, but if it had have been a colour I really love like emerald green or turquoise I might not have been successful! As it is, I will enjoy both of your choices vicariously.

No must haves for me this weekend. I just picked up Inside Watery Eyes when it restocked a few days ago as well as Mabon before it went out of stock. I have been wishlisting canvases I like and then deciding to pick them up when the restock for the most part. I rarely buy on launch day.

This is so cool.. I wanted this one so bad but unfortunately I can not get it my husband had 2 strokes and lost his job and we are down to one income and it can be very overwhelming at times we filled for disability but in our state they are 12/14 months behind.. and it make my heart hurt bc diamond is my saving grace and the only thing that gets me through my rough days 😢

I have approx 450 premium kits. Ridiculous as I will never do them. 😂 Collected over 3 yrs or so. I am slowly getting rid of them. I do not want to deal with selling them so I throw them away. Some I work on but I barely complete 4 -5/ yr. I am a collector apparently. Thanks for showing. You have some cute ones.

I love the weekly vlog style that you do, your random chatter is cute and funny. I am so glad that you keep it real :-) Like you I was a colorist first too, still have many coloring books and supplies. But surprise, surprise....they have not been touched in the now 4 years that I've started diamond painting. No matter, one day I'll get back to it. I laughed out lout at the card thingie, too funny!
