2023 was not only a great year, but it was the year I started my RUclips channel.

Im kinda glad this didnt make it in the movie unlike take on me in the kong kingdom scene. It doesnt really fit the epic tone this scene is conveying (if anything it feels even MORE out of place than the aforementioned take on me) and its a song that already gets used a lot in a bunch of movies (which also describes the other pop songs in the film)

Don't get me wrong, the original score is great and I'm glad it's in the movie, but this is one of those rare times I really wouldn't have minded the pop song instead tbh

I find it pretty sad that he was only visible on screen for 21 seconds and only had 2 lines in the movie, he should’ve had a little bigger role since he is the original voice of Mario (Charles Martinet) and yes Charles also voices Mario’s dad but this guy is the ORIGINAL Mario

As much as I love the song (as do most other people), this isn't a "What could have been" but instead a "What thankfully wasn't"
