In size, but not so much in weight

For each shot I just think while composing on how I want the final shot to look like. Do I want it to be moody? Bright and colorful? In this scenario, I wanted the sunset colors to show so I chose simulations that would complement that. At the boat harbor, I wanted a more toned down and not as colorful look. It’s a matter of knowing what the simulations can do and how those simulations can help with your vision. I hope this helped 😅

Ah no worries. The slow store is actually because I'm using a custom film recipe. Without it the camera is pretty responsive

For me, a place is not just the landscape or touristy sights. It's also the people, the food, the random buildings. Those little "random objects" that are overlooked upon. It's all those things combined that make up Taiwan. But we can agree to disagree.

@@orjan37 good question. Here in Hawaii as well as the rest of the US states you don’t need permission to take photos of things or people in public spaces. However, In this case, I was aware the child might not be understanding of what’s going on, and so I made sure the parent knew I was taking photos. The parent didn’t seem to mind. But in general as decent humans we should have courtesy of asking permission when it’s necessary.

@ Great answer! Thank you for sharing your thought process. The rules are the same here in Norway, with the exception being if someone is the main subject in a photo, then you have to ask. I find this difficult to define, because it is a bit vague what makes a person main subject or not. This hinders me to publishing street photos. Last thing I want to do is offend someone, or break the rules, when street photography is about capturing a feeling of the street.

That’s tough. How strict are the rules? Maybe you can be creative and do silhouettes or take back shots where you can’t see faces?

I was actually looking into the XE4 too but I wasn't about to pay for the ridiculous resell prices. It all worked out since the XM5 is really what I was looking for 😄

It has a digital stabalizer and some lens have the optical stabilzer. I'm dropping a new video in an hour addressing why I don't like the stabalizer.🫢

Hmm. It depends on what you’re trying to filming. For my style which is run and gun type of video, the stabalization is not for me 👀 I’m working on a new video explaining this a little more
