There's quite a variety of stones in this batch. They are from Gemstone beach, New Zealand. Lots of quartzite, granite, jasper, Argillite trace fossils and more. They polish really well.

I'm so glad you love the video. These are all Agates from Canterbury. I've sliced a few of them, so pretty inside. I really love the pale bluey green ones.

@@garybrooks2730 20 ml bright shaft, bearings and pulleys from an engineering shop. Skf beating shop. They sell belts, bearings ,and pulleys. Hubby built it for me

@@garybrooks2730 we made the PVC drums. The pipe, union, cap,and lid came from Bunnings. They are quite good, but tricky to open. The rubber barrrls came from Rotorua lapidary

I really like this supplier, the price is cheaper than any other on the NZ market. Post is cheaper too. I totally recommend it. I was happy with the results. I'm so glad you watch the videos😊

@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 thank you, and i love your videos, also another question, i have a lot of rocks with this white stuff all over them, i can't take it off not even with sand paper, and is not like like the rock is white, is covering the rock, have you ever seen something like it? and if you do what should i do to take it off?

@@miguelg9625 hard to know without seeing photos. Tumbling them in a rock tumbler with smooth them,and take off any coating. Sometimes soaking them in oxalic acid works. I've not used that before.

@@CongTrading A rock tumbler is the best way to polish stones. It's a GF rest hobby too.

@@outdorrfun9948 yeh those old cars were so cool, my rock buddy friend was in old car heaven 😂😂it's a huge ferry, but they aren't very reliable

@@outdorrfun9948 oh the ferry carries train cargo, and huge trucks too. It's a huge body of water that it has to cross.

Reminds me of the beaches I see in up north Adventures and Michigan rocks videos. What a beautiful beach to visit as a rockhound. Like little kids in a candy shop.

So much fun, I'm addicted. I'm looking at all the rocks in my quarry, in a different light.

Do you mean Nephrite stone, I do find green rocks but they are really soft. The stones that really stand out are the beautiful yellow storm Jasper.

No, cant use gloves. The blade could catch them, and drag my hand into the blade. I might need a wetsuit 😂😂

@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 Surgical gloves should be ok and at least be some barrier (the blade should grind not cut cut) and I agree with a wetsuit (and huggies!!).
