010 DON’T Call Me A "convert”
Просмотров 1494 года назад
In this video I discuss my discomfort with being labeled as a convert. Deep in my heart, I recognize that I was born as a Sikh, and through a lifetime of learning and suffering, the path toward the Guru was revealed to me. I talk about my early upbringing and the formative influences that shaped my worldview in the early stages of both my childhood and adult life. In a later video I'll discuss ...
009 Sikh Orgs & Anti-Racism Q&A

In this video we answer a question we received following a recent Q&A my wife and I took part in. “What do you think Sikh organizations can do to combat racisim either inside or outside of the Sikh Community. It’s a difficult question to answer, and we did our best to brainstorm a few ideas. What ideas do you have about this topic? Here are some of our initial thoughts that we cover in the vide...

In this video I’m answering a question from my IG: How do you think puratan Singhs dealt with things like PTSD? It’s a fascinating question and I hope I was able to shine a light on this based on my personal experience. I think it’s important to normalize conversation about mental health. I know from a cultural perspective, this isn’t something I’ve almost never heard discussed. If this were a ...

In this video I talk about recurring symptoms and the impact it can have on quality of life. It’s important to take away the stigma of ptsd and other stress, anxiety, or emotional disorders. There’s still so much more to say about this. What are your thoug...

This video is about how I groom my beard and what products I use. NO, this is NOT a sponsored promotion, and I don’t get anything for showing you these products. I do enjoy these products and want to give a shout out to Kevin Kent and the amazing team behind Kent of Inglewood. In this video I also explain a bit about why Kes is important to me. 002 How I Got My Name
Просмотров 764 года назад
How to pronounce my name, what it means, and how I chose it. Most people get my name wrong or consistently mispronounce it. Don’t give up before you even get started, it’s not that hard and I know you can get it right. I believe in you! I wasn’t always comfortable with my name, but I’ve had it since 2015 and it’s now quite dear to my heart. It has come to embody my sense of purpose, my strength...

Wow .. Khalsa ji 👌🏼
Hey, I enjoyed a lot of the talking points here. Definitely a unique, cross-cultural perspective. I do not, however, agree on police reform. It is false accountability and has consistently proven to be ineffective in Canada and the US. Employing more police officers would presumably increase budgets, when funds could be divested. I also do not believe that institutions such as the police or the RCMP can ever be good when their purpose was to hunt for escaped slaves in the US, and in Canada, subject Indigenous people to torment and forcibly remove children from their parents.
Teg ji, you are great. Nice Introduction.
AJIT SINGH Thanks for the support!
Nice video
