An audiodrama podcast for lovers of creepy, slow-burn, gothic 1920’s historical fiction, romance and low key horror. SEASON ONE is a 12 part story of love, madness, murder, mysteries and dead gods set in Ireland and England. Kilphaun Hall sits high on a ridge overlooking the Blackwater river in County Waterford. Abandoned and silent for so long, it echoes now to the cheerful sounds of renovation and preparations for the coming social season of winter 1925. But Kilphaun Hall has its secrets and some places are best left to rot, forgotten. Set between England and the uneasy peace of post-Civil War Ireland, newly returned Captain Jon Ross must survive both local hostility and the increasingly sinister happenings at the house as his English fiancée Elizabeth Sanderson risks London’s occultist demi-monde in a race to save him. THWDY is an epistolary audio drama as told by Jon and Elizabeth to each other in their letters as Kilphaun Hall reluctantly gives up its secrets.
