Nur Berny nervt bissl. Er verfremdet die Lieder gesanglich zu stark. Ich wünsche mir einen John Lawton zurück.... aber er will halt seinen eigenen Stempel aufdrücken. Wems gefällt - mir nicht. Warum muss ich jedes Lied stimmlich verfremden, wenn ich es auch normal singen könnte? Hat mich schon immer sehr gestört. Ja, er ist ein anderer Typ - aber die Leute wollen Nostalgie - sie wollen keine neuen Versionen, da kann man ja nicht mitsingen. Seine Strategie war mal in den 90ern kurz populär, aber heutzutage wollen wir einfach die alten Hits wieder. Und er "könnte" sie genauso singen. Aber er spielt sich immer wieder in "ausgestorbener Rockstar Manier" in den Vordergrund. Nicht schön - besonders weil er am wenigsten am Ruhm von UH beteiligt war. Harte Worte, gelle? Meine 2ct.

@@UschiSchmidt-pl2en John lawton hätte auch noch bei dem Album conquest singen müssen ,wäre eine richtige gute Scheibe geworden...

In some of the recent interviews David stated that Ed is still in the band, but doesnt perform live currently for some personal reasons. Dont know drummers name, but hes been playin drums on live shows since the Frank left the band.

Drummer is Matt McKasty. Eddie is still in the band and participates in studio, but can't tour at this point.

@@jetro1089 Interesting but many are convinced a drum machine has been used on the albums for a long time now. Frank was awesome live.

I was there and in the moment it sounded AMAZING. Almost 2 hour setlist with some of their greatest songs ever. But in all fairness i was so wrapped up in the ecstasy of watching VS live for the first time i really couldnt tell you if he sang like shit or not.

Seen the setlist, could have been more oldschool but was Good anyways. Would love to See them one time, but i would be fkn down if hes as Bad as he Used to be in the last 15 years.

@@DiamondKing666 the setlist thats up is incomplete. They also played Veni vedi vici, Symphony of Steele and Fight tooth and nail.

His voice changed after some health problem in June 2005. Don't be fooled by the studio albums after 2005, containing vocal recordings before 2005. Search for live gigs instead. After 2005, it is clear that the voice changed. He must have had some health problems affecting his vocal cords. Now it's been almost 20 years like this, no point in hoping to hear a voice like he had in the 90s. We are all getting older ...
