First Ipswich Reds (FEC) ADL Enviro 300 67760 SN62 AUC
A rather musical E300 on the Ipswich P&R service back in January 2022. 67760 still sounds like this now in 2024 just with an even louder, worse sounding intercooler/turbo and grinding diff. Still the fastest of the batch here though, joint 1st with 67775 which at the moment is a really good catch if you want a "quick" E300 of this setup. I do like a few of these Enviro's, for what they are, they're alright.

Now long gone Volvo B7TL 32653 flying to Felixstowe just after returning to Ipswich from Yarmouth in September 2023. 32653 was withdrawn in January 2024. Considering this was, at the time, seen as one the shit ones I think that It packed a sturdy punch stacking it up against the latest kit that replaced it. 32653 had a very whiny engine, like 32655, which was harder to hear over the cooling fan...

I better join the party! Here is 56 on the final day in operation for the DAF Lowlanders (Saturday 30/07/2022) that have served Ipswich since 2002. 24/02/2022 32488 working the X7 'Fast' service to Felixstowe Grange Farm on Thursday evening. 32488 used to be one of the healthiest B7TL's in the entire fleet with its nice ZF, axles & turbo, then it started hoovering last year, and at the start of this year the fanbelt is clearly audible. It's a shame watching these really good buses being neglected, First can't afford to loose these deckers ...

02/01/2022 Here we see a P&R E300 breaking away from It's usual town run & attempting to go fast on a fast route, the 77. These €5 E300's can do 65 but due to there being no kickdown & topodyn, it takes an age to get there. This driver only did 50 so that doesn't really matter. If these things had kickdown or topodyn they'd fly probably. Due to the P&R being cut to every 20 minutes instead of 1...

First's 64, 70A, 73, 75, 77 are very scenic and quick. Ipswich Buses' 93 is very fast-paced too
