.....super toll gespielt, aber nicht nur auf modernen Bässen, sondern auch noch mit Cellobogen-Haltung, OBWOHL beide mit herrlichen Violonen-Bögen spielen. ALSO, eine einzige stillose Groteske, dazu kommt die moderne "Extension", mit der man in den USA (und inzwischen auch schon in Europa) die Schnecken von herrlichen, historischen Bässen ruiniert. ABER : die beiden spielen prachtvoll virtuos, das ist aber auch alles..............es ist nicht zu verstehen, warum die beiden nicht auf sogenannten "historischen Bässen" spielen. Die falsche Bogenhand und die Stahlsaiten kann man noch verzeihen......

This is incredible! some of the best cello and bass soloing ive seen! also incredible arrangement.

It sounds much better at your original recording speed. The unnatural head movements of the cello player instantly tipped me off in the beginning. Then when I slowed it down it sounds (and looks) so, so much better! Not sure why sped it up.

Nice work your doing Nick's bass proud! As a matter of interest how did you record this? From what I can work out it sounds as if the microphone/s where was some way from the bass and in a room that did not have excessive reverb (nice).

@1:14 where are the high harmonics I've seen every other bass audition use? That little sectiom is always like up an octave or something up in thumb position. Is this a different arrangement?

Wow, really good tone, technique, and intonation, a little constructive criticism is that you could use some more rubato to liven the music, really find which notes are important and milk them.
