Drum performances of original music and covers. I will also be sharing drum knowledge regarding the use of electronic drums for recording and playing live. I play in the prog metal band Hourglass. I am also a session artist and content creator. I may even live stream drumming on occasion. These are the live takes played on the album. It was a lot of work capturing the live takes instead of just recording everything and then recording a play-along. The original video of the intro was corrupted. So I returned and re-recorded the audio and video for the intro with my newer gear and studio setup. On 16th notes, when playing on toms, you can clearly hear that these are electronic drums. May I know what program you take the drum sounds from? Would you like to try Ez drummer 3? The sound of the drums there is much higher quality and closer to a real acoustic drum kit
I use Superior Drummer Three. It is the same company (toontrack) as Ez Drummer 3 but it's the more expensive and higher quality of the two. Superior Drummer 3 uses real drum recordings for its samples.

We thought of that! We even have have a mixed and mastered version where we split a Fate Sealed in two sections so we have a version of our songs that would fit on a two sided vinyl. We also have larger versions of all the artwork ready for vinyl print. It’s risky because printing out vinyl is around $5000 and up. So we’d have to know there’s enough people out there that would want to buy a vinyl copy. We are thinking about doing a Kickstarter order GoFundMe for the future if there’s enough interest.

Hi! Great performance! Because of your recent videos I ordered two Roland KD7. Haha! I don't know why you use them, but I guess because they are less bouncy than these stupid mesh heads. And quite compact...
Hell yeah! They are great. They are nigh indestructable and much more portable. It makes it a lot easier to place your pedals anywhere you want them. And yes they are less bouncy but still feel great, more like a real kick drum.
@@JohnDunstonDrumsWohooo, so I made the right decision. They are used 2 triggers for (converted) $90. I will wipe them down with a bit of silicone oil and baaam! Haha! Now I have to get some pedals 🙂
