this method is not working for me on emulator with a keyboard, however i have found a strategy that is 100% consistent and its really easy to do, the only requirement i believe is that you need the granite tunnel of woe level 1 ofc (it needs to be at the bottom of your map list, if you only have this map then it doesnt matter, if you have more maps you can just get new treasure maps that you havent beaten yet and fill the page until this map is at the bottom of page1) and you also need the thief scroll, everything else doesnt matter, no special abilities, no party members, you can do it solo or with a party of 4, it doesnt matter. also you need to play on dsmume i believe, it probably doesnt work on android emulators. this is what you do: stand outside of zere and do a quicksave, reset your game with file->reset, then reload your quicksave (this resets the rng seed and is crucial just like hoimi table) when your back in the game walk into zere, open your menu and hover treasure maps, pay close attention to the granny in the background, as soon as she moves open your treasure maps and close them, hold down while you do this so you exit zere, during the loading screen hold left, there will be either a snail spawning or a scarecrow, it doesnt really matter which one but if you see one of those two to your left you did it right, walk slightly past them to the left and then hold right and approach the brownie that should always be there, just like in his video, the brownie should be solo without support monsters, just kill him with a basic attack and he should drop a seed of strength, if he doesnt then you need to walk a little bit more to the left next time. and if you see support monsters then dont even bother, he wont drop it, however because we have reset the rng seed he should always be alone, thats the entire reason we even did this step, you can also skip this step and the strategy will work every time he is solo, however the chance is like 90% that he has support monsters and you cant really prevent this, unless you heal like 20 times to advance the rng, or by doing the quicksave method, which is why im using it. by that i mean you cant advance the rng that determines if the monster is solo or not with timings, as you can see in the video, he sometimes gets the solo brownie as well, again thats because timing doesnt influence this, the only way to get him to show solo is by doing the quicksave method or by pure chance. also at night the strategy doesnt seem to work anymore, so i would suggest to just use the inn if you see that its nighttime, then it should work again

i have a cousin who could do this on his game but i had him try to do it for me and he could never get it to work and he says my game is cursed or something lol...i cant figure out how to do anything cheating wise on this game and im stuck doing everything the hardest longest way possible and its just down right awful...after this game i will never play another dragon quest game thank you game creator for making everything the biggest pain in the butt to do you lost a buyer for your games =)

Don't get it. sometimes i get the armors sometimes not. either way, when i do, i've done exactly as the tutorial says, but I rarely get a seed. takes me about 2-5 tries each time to even get armours, and then only every 3-4 of those drop a seed.

To all of you having trouble with getting granite tunnel of woe at bottom, u might have to deleat a bunch o maps, cuz u hav to hav 1 page only, exactly 1 page, u must press select in the treasure map selection till its at bottom, hope I helped u guyz

I'm having problems with this seed, the armor has never showed up for me, I've tried many times, with different timings and positions and it still refuses to appear (I have the map open by the way), am I doing something wrong? does the timing has to be super fast or is there a very specific position in which I have to open the map screen?

his is not working is it because I don't have the treaser map because I have no treaser maps or is it because im only using level 47 gladiator

Wait, how did you get so many of the Granite tunnel?

At night the Boppin' badger is always there before I run up to it. And when it spawns as I come up to it a Gastropog appears. During the day the Ragged Reaper never appears and all I keep getting are leather kilts. :/

So I need two sages, a martial artist and a gladiator at level 99. Hm. Might prove to be a challenge. But hey, where's the fun if there wasn't?

Also, Shadowwolf11630, There are a few things you could be doing wrong. First thing is the Thief Theory scroll. It has to be in the hands of someone who is level 99 in order for things to work. Another thing you could be doing wrong is you could have the map (Granite Tunnel of Woe Lv. 1) in the wrong place on your list. It has to be at the bottom. Third, you could simply be following the procedure wrong. Check the seed farming guide and follow all directions exactly.

Only issue I have with this method is when you run into multiple monsters. I'm using the Usugura map, (Granite Tunnel of Woe Lv. 1) and I was wondering if there's a table anywhere on the internet that shows the random numbers in battle and how to manipulate them. If there isn't, are there any methods for farming seeds of agility that are more reliable? For instance, methods that use either the Masayuki map or the Kawasaki Locker?

Wofl Whistle is the one that usually works with me; in the event that you get a Killing Machine and another monster, Miracle Moon by the second member in the party (with everyone else defending) will usually either result in the common drop from the Killing Machine (Iron Nails) or the rare drop from the second enemy. Make sure that Granite Tunnel of Woe Lv. 1 is at the very bottom of the Treasure Maps page (Usugura to JP players); otherwise this WILL NOT work.

Interesting. Man, even without cheating, I've gotten a lot of those thanks to DQVC.

Seed farming. Interesting. I should try that sometime, particularly with Seed of Agility. Those Pandora's Boxes are so damn fast...
