Even in these last days which have become as the times of Noah, are there good men like Pete Malinverni who apply their genius to honor the almighty Creator, who gives onto all of us His infinite love. I once had the honor taking a few private lessons with Mr. Malenverni. Though my destiny as a jazz pianist was not one which was meant to be, as a part of those lessons Pete gave me a copy of his soulful "A Joyful Noise!" project, which was his attempt at applying blues and jazz styles to gospel choir singing verses from Pslams. At the time I did enjoy listening to this music, but it wasn't until 10 years looking back that I realize what a profoundly positive impact it had on me. It was the good seed which grew in my soul amidst all the toxic vines of "popular music." To see Pete having not only continued with his creative aspirations in this regard, but to have taken them to a level of Magnum Opus in this "The Creation" project is truly humbling to witness. Even if I am the only man on Earth who may have glimpsed a deserving appreciation for Pete's artistic glory, surely the angels in Heaven have seen the blessed virtue of this man.
