Isaac is great paired with a drone ship, if you've unlocked one - they get all the bonuses that Isaac's gear and card library provide. Also, when Parry comes around again, consider how it works: it adds up all the enemy's pending cannon damage, regardless if it would hit you. Great for the end of zone bosses.

Lem spread w Corals bubble sounds pgood actually. the shotgun is a gimmick weapon, Corals only good bc the bubble is the best 2ndary. railgun+canonball would be the slowest primary/2ndary combo bc railgun is the worst primary bar none and canon ball doesnt cover the railguns weaknesses

you can intentionally skip dark embryo with a chain drop anywhere in the section starting at 2:19:16, the section immediately after the titan spam and blue spectres. a down in the prior section works too. its worse for score runs but is easier and saves between 30 seconds and one minute depending on the droid

I liked the game a lot when it came out. It was my second favourite shmup of 2022, just after Gunvein. I played it for 10 streams and just to cycle through all ships. A lot of variety in Sophstar. Also, I liked the teleport as a safety mechanic. It was very fresh. Never seen something like it.

Seems like swarms of low health enemies are Liquorice's weak spot, since her damage output gets swallowed up by relatively few of them, and her big AOE attack is so limited use. I like her Ming the Merciless style outfit for + mode, I'm guessing you might grind the Venom fight a bit to get a more intuitive grasp of where she'll dash back onto the playing field after dashing through the orbiting parabalo cannons Venom uses in two stages. Definitely seem to want a shut down in tandem with the dash attack for the drill. Your reaction to the tiny margin of your PB was great.

I wonder if Starch's name would've been Pineapple if she had gotten a regular android skin.

Starch is my favorite character, and watching her be this powerful feels so in character for her.
