Many churches have an organ but are unable to find organists to play them. It is good to know that despite this people still want to sing hymns to an organ accompaniment and that this channel (started out of boredom during the Covid lockdowns) can help with that. I don't know the hymns that you have mentioned but have found them in the Mission Praise book and put them on the "to do" list for the future. It may take a while as one of the challenges I have is gaining access to the church to make the videos - it is a very well used building which is a good thing. If you enjoy the channel and make regular use of it, please consider a membership. It only costs 99p per month but really helps towards costs and travel. Many thanks and best wishes.

I didn't include Rutter as I feel that's more of a choir arrangement of the hymn rather than one for a general congregation. Nice tune though.

@@TheHymnChannel Yes. When playing organ preludes at church I usually chose a very simple basic hymn, and then freely improvise with "themes and variations".

Hello, The hymn I am looking for is called River Wash Over Me 581 in Complete Mission Praise.

It works well on the organ which is not always the case with some of the Come and Praise hymns. I played this recently in a church for a licensing service. It is very uplifting when a few hundred people are singing along with your playing. Thanks for watching.
